Bombay Grill Indian Restaurant

Tucked away in a little back street off main boulevard is this fantastic little restaurant. It is well worth the two minutes walk from the main square. Staff are very attentive. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming and really made us feel at home, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely come here again and would definitely recommend a visit.

We have visited Bombay grill several years in a row and we are never disappointed. This year the chef out performed himself. Price, service and taste. This is a genuine “Indian restaurant” however if you like spicy ask them to increase the heat.

Had a lovely family meal hete ladt night ,A lovely family run restaurant , very attentive waiter , food was seasoned to perfection , and excellent value for family of four .

Would highly recommend if in the area or the surrounding area much better value that other indian cuisine restaurants in tha locale and suggest you try.

We were extremely pleasantly surprised by everything this place had to offer. Beyond words good, and that’s everything from service, food and decor.
(I don’t do reviews often).
The food was so good our whole table applauded when they come to clear the plates 🤣 and trust me, being British we’ve all been to many Indian restaurants, and this one took 1st place for us all.

Great venue, great staff especially the female waiter she was amazing. Very attentive and polite. Food was out of this world and the best Indian we have ever had. Will be back next time we are over hopefully before next July. Will tell all the people in the hotel just how good this place was! We were a family of 4 had starters, main courses, all the usual sides and drinks including wine and it was only €106. Phenomenal value!!

Ali was our host and his service was exemplary. Excellent quality Indian food. Had the 3 course 11 euro menu. Great value. Tasty balti, quality ingredients and spicy. Naan, rice both fresh. The onion bhajis were super. Great service throughout .. Highly recommended..

In the words of my two sons… “The food is really great, I would definitely recommend coming here. It is quite exquisite, and I really like the curry.”

We tend to eat early before 7pm, so restaurant was empty when we arrived. This was our second visit to this restaurant and we still have a week left so it definitely won’t be our last visit. The freshness of all the ingredients used was apparent, the mixed veg pakora was excellent, and the Mirchi Wali Kebab chicken melted in the mouth as described in the menu.
My wife had the Chicken Kahadi which was very tasty, I had the Chefs speciality dish Lamb Rara, the lamb and the mince sauce was absolutely delicious and the mushrooms were so juicy. Once again one portion of Pilau Rice was enough for the two of us, and the Paratha Bread was the best we’ve had in ages. Service from the staff was attentive and just right. The bill was more than reasonable for the amount we had and as we said in the beginning of this review we will definitely return again.

The food was tasty with a wide variety of the usual favorites. We enjoyed the Mirchi Wali chicken kebab, the Bhuna chicken and chana masala. The serving staff was attentive. But the restaurant itself was rather run down, especially the restrooms.

What an absolute gem! Take yourself away from the very centre of town and enjoy one of the nicest Indian meals I ever ever had. Taiyab the chef deserves a special mention because without the man we never see we wouldn't get served such excellent food by Ali who was working the tables with a pleasant smile at all times. The best bit was the whole meal was not expensive and great value for money.

There was plenty of chicken in the Handi dish I ordered, and I asked them to make it a little spicy for me, which they did 😁 The keema rice was beautiful, and I also got a keema naan, which was nice but I had had better. Overall, I liked the food, and I would recommend going here. I will call in again for sure.
