Wonderfully stocked with a larger range of Japanese food, household, apparel than any other shops that I have visited in Europe so far.

The food items are fresh and the shop is clean, simple but modern. They bring in mostly made in Japan brands which makes a huge difference in authenticity and quality.

Pricey place to shop at but what a treat.

Great selection of Mochi - and the only place where we found the sesame ones (not frozen) which were delicious. Very good selection of candy, sauces, rice, noodles and they even have kimonos, slippers, socks etc.

Great little shop! There are a lot of foods and goods, it's really worth going and taking a look around. They have very pretty kitchen goods that are also great quality! I have bowls, chopsticks and tea boxes that still look brand new years later.

They also have spices, noodles, Japanese mayo (Kewpie), candies, drinks and snacks, like lemonades (lots of flavors!), Pocky, trail mix, small cookies etc...

The staff is always really nice, knowledgeable and helpful as well, so don't hesitate to ask them questions!

Great prices, good products

Nice shop with a big variety of items (mostly snacks). There were even some clothing items, such as yukatas. The prices were good too.

Really nice small store with wide selection of Japanese goods. Had some nice discounts when I visited, but seems to be bit pricy normally. Still it's the oldest Japanese store in Finland and well worth a visit.

Cool little spot with hard to find Japanese pantry essentials. Many of the products are at a lower price than some of the other Asian Groceries in town. They carry Vermont Curry, which is a personal favorite of mine. In addition to ingredients, they carry a wide array of Japanese cutlery, trinkets and pottery. The staff is knowledgeable about the available products and willing to give recommendations. A truly fun and unique shop in the center of Helsinki.

Absolutely ❤ this place! I get my fix of all the Japanese goodies that remind me of home - curry, shoyu, ponzu, gyoza, karaage chicken, mochi, and all the awesome next level Japanese snacks you could imagine. Best Japanese store in Helsinki!

Nice little shop with good selection and friendly staff

Wonderful little (actually pretty big) importer of Japanese foodstuff and other goods. I like the broad selection of Japanese rice varieties, sauces and snacks. Situated in downtown Helsinki.

Wonderful Japanese store with a large selection of both food and kitchenware. Super helpful staff. We will definitely go back many many times! No fotos this time. It would not do them justice.

This is a gem in Helsinki - a very well supplied Japanese store! I bought some origami paper; the choice of food, tea, cooking utensils and kitchen knives was also great!

This is wonderful japanese shop. I was there many times. Always good variety of products. Prices on some things might be higher than you expect, but in general it is fine. Very good friendly service.

A lovely small Japanese store that literally sells anything Japanese. Most people however visit this place to buy Japanese food items, such as seaweed, rice, soy sauces, candy etc. Although, they also sell traditional Japanese clothing and tableware.

Basically the only game in town for specialty Japanese products. Other Asian stores in Helsinki are more about Chinese and Indian cuisines.

Japanese goods at a good price for imported stuff from Asia. A lot avaible from cooking ingredients to tea and kitchen knife.
