Good vegetarian buffet style meal for 8.60€.

The food is good, has variety, and is subsidized for students, which is a great help. The nutrition value is my go-to factor.

One of the students in the heart of the city centre, it was my 2nd time in Helsinki and it was so easy to navigate and find it.. as you know the student meal is for 2,70 €. I visited twice food was not that yummy but worth the price

The safest choice when it comes to student cafeterias in Helsinki. I've never been disappointed. It's not too fancy (of course for 2.95€) but it does the job.

For me it was definitely a place to go. The food was really good and not expensive and you can take a big portion

Great place if you are really very hungry. You can get your meals for €2.60 with a student card or €6.80 if you don't have any student card. Very good meal options on buffet for every one , yes including begans.

This is the Universitiy of Helsinki's canteen. The food is very tasty and health and costs 2.60 for Finnish students. It is 6.80 for others- but it is still the cheapest place to eat out in Helsinki. And the experience worths. A lot of. Finnish students, WiFi, and an interesting environment. Highly recommend!! Right in the city center!!

A bit hard to locate if you come here for the first time.
It is practically inside a building, so you may want to ask others to guide you. Google map only lead you to one of several entrances of the building, you have to find the cafe yourself.

Regularly have some food here after school. For student they have great discounts if you have the right card. Not the best food but for the price you cant complain

The only uni cafe that’s open until 7 pm. The food is very healthy and affordable for students. Non-students can eat here with different prices.

Teh glorious place of cheap and healthy food. About 7 euros for a basic meal. Open late. Options for several foods to choose from and options for several special diets and allergies as standard. Awesome and cozy place to eat and/or drink coffee and have a bun to eat. Service and ingredient lists in Finnish, Swedish and English.

This UniCafe is a popular luch place among students. A normal lunch costs 2.60€ and you can select your dish from 2-4 options, including a vegetarian one. I do not recommend this place for non-students because the meals are much more expensive without a student discount and then not really worth the price.

Good and healthy food, good value for money. One portion gives you 2 glasses of drink (water/milk, sour milk, some sort of juice drink from concentrate etc), bread, salad as much as you want, rice/potatoes, main dish of the day (choices from carnivore to vegan dishes). I'd say that is pretty good, especially for students -- 2.60 Euros. Others pay more.
If you want coffee, then it's cheaper to get it when paying for lunch (90 cents regular coffee, 1.90 for latte etc). Otherwise regularly coffee is 1.40.
Just prepare to sit in the table with people from all walks of life.
It's also good that it's in the center and available to get dinner until 7 pm, other unicafes tend to close already at 3:30 or 5 pm.

If you want to eat healthy at a cafeteria/lunch restaurant and have not a lot of cash looketh not a step further. This place is cheap! Open late! Offers multiple choices, glut free, vegan, vege! Just make sure you're comfortable with being seated next to strangers and don't have an issue with a loud clamour of people from all walks of life.

Best place to eat in the centre of Helsinki, only on the weekdays though. Student price 2,60 and non-student 6,80.

Foods are testy and reasonable price. Multinational food item's are offered that made me to taste different cuisine. And Specially student can easily afford the cost.

Well what can I say... my favorite budget place in HEL. Good variety of dishes for a student canteen buffet. The fish dishes is usually very creamy and delicious!
