K-Supermarket Kasarmi

A large food selection where you can find almost any food product. Very helpful and kind staff. I found the prices a bit more expensive then other stores.

Very beautiful building from 1935 in typical Finnish Bauhaus design. Architect was a woman. Martta Martikainen. It was built as a military facility, but houses today a K supermarket.

Incredibly well thought out variety of pretty much every type of food, especially considering that this store is not particularly large. The service is friendly and competent, accessibility good also from the indoor parking under the building, and the availability of special diet products commendable. Consequently, some of the prices are on the higher side.

Great selection and customer service. The guy at the back deli counter introduced us to some traditional Finnish foods. We got some taste tests and bought everything we tried. So good!

Super friendly staff. They'll get hold of anything for you. I need a whole pig, no problem. I'm making tonkatsu, can you get me bones for the broth. Yep. Sushi grade tuna. Yep. 50kg ice for a concert event. Yep. Never had a no from these guys.

One of my favorite grocery shops. Well stocked. A little on the pricey side but you get s sense you are buying quality food. Free parking if you buy a certain amount.

Everyday there is a lovely soup made from fresh ingredients, also the staff is really kind and professional.

Although it is not very big, for its size it is well assorted. There is fresh fruit everyday since it is the summer. There is also a cafe inside.

Blends in with the surroundings so well I wouldn't of found it if I weren't looking for it specifically!

If you dont find it here you wint find it anywhere. They know about quality. A selfservice cashier would be appreciated though

All workers and staff are very friendly and accommodating to their costumer, you will find what you needed there for living.
