Le Saint Vincent Restaurant Soissons

We absolutely loved this place.
Very welcoming and homely.
Our French is very limited, and although their English was also limited, they made every effort to chat with us, asking how we had been (we returned after such a great first experience), popped over for chats throughout, always smiling.
The food was very good, and generous portions too. Delicious options and fantastic specials.
There was cosy feeling here and we got the impression it was a local hotspot as many of the customers would stay for hours and chat with staff.
I would recommend this place to anyone. We were staying in Berny-riviere and drove over twice (about 20 mins)

We had a fantastic family meal at this restaurant this evening: 2 adults and 3 small children. The waiting staff (Crystal and Christine I believe) could not have been kinder, more welcoming or more attentive. Lovely restaurant, oddly not busy for a Saturday evening. The food was absolutely delicious - would highly recommend the fillet steak. Great to try our limited French out in an authentic French restaurant - a great experience for our children also. Lovely family atmosphere.

We stopped over in Soissons on the way back to the UK. We hadn't realised at the time how difficult it would be to find some where to eat, even on a Saturday night.
First place we tried was fully booked, the second place didn't exist (thanks Google, for sending us on a wild goose chase). Places were closed, or just kebab shops. Just when we had about given up hope we found this place.
What a find, lots of free tables but not empty. Friendly waitress and waiters (I'm guessing family run). Wide selection of food and drink, all reasonably priced.
I had the Escargot to start and they were fantastic; drowning in sizzling butter(?) heavy with garlic and parsley.
Next I had the Super Fruits de Mer pizza. I was very happy, it was like a seafood platter on a pizza, mussels, prawns and scallops all fighting it out on a pizza base. I just managed some sorbet, but it was definite "wafer thin mint" stage by now.
Can't remember the final bill, but might have been around €50 for two meals and a 50ml carafe of house red.

Simply wonderful restaurant. great food, generous portions, incredible desert and delicious wine! Made our brief visit to Soissons just perfect!

Kind and efficient service, very delicious an authentic dishes and desserts. Not expensive.

We eat here every year we visit , food is fantastic and reasonably priced !!

Excellente découverte gustative...beau cadre...Belle terrasse...et un repas des fêtes des mères au top...on sent vraiment que les produits sont frais et de qualité. Le vin blanc horgelus est vraiment à tester... Une adresse incontournable de Soissons

Le service, l'ambiance et la cuisine rien à dire de négatif.
Nous étions deux, nous avons pris deux menus différents (22 et 42) avec un choix suffisant. Chaque plat servis étaient un délice en bouche. La viande rouge était tendre et succulente. L'escalope de veau et sa sauce un délice.
Rapport qualité prix plus que satisfaisant.
Le serveur adorable et aux petits soins.
Nous reviendrons bien volontiers accompagnés pour faire découvrir ces bonnes saveurs !

Une carte très complète pour tous les goûts. J'ai pris une salade landaise très copieuse.

Malgré le changement de propriétaire, ce restaurant a su gardé son accueil, son amabilité. Ma crainte a tout de suite été effacé dès l'ouverture de la porte avec le sourire de l'équipe.
L'équipe est aimable, de bons conseils et non dénuée d'humour.
Les produits sont bons. Le rapport qualité prix l'est aussi.
Je recommande bien évidemment.

Plats copieux, et surtout un grand merci au Monsieur serveur pour sa rapidité qui nous a servi en respectant notre court délai. Franchement il mérite tous nos remerciements alors que la dame au bout de 10mn n'avait même pas encore pris notre commande alors qu'elle était informée de notre contrainte horaire ... Elle est tranquille, alors qu'à côté le monsieur serveur court dans tous les sens pour satisfaire le client.

C'est le meilleur restaurant de Soissons. Tout y est le service, l'amabilité, la qualité des produits proposés et que dire du changement de carte des nouveaux propriétaires... tout fait envie 😜

Nous avons passé un bon moment, le personnel est accueillant. La cour est très agréable. Le serveur est de bon conseil concernant les plats, la quantité, la boisson. La présentation de la brochette de viande et son "épée" à fait sont effet en arrivant à notre table. 👍De l'entrée au dessert, tout était très bon. Merci

Avons passé un très bon moment familial au st Vincent pour Pâques.
Sommes venus avec deux bébés et tout était prévu pour eux. Personnel bienveillant, bonne cuisine et portions plus que généreuses.
Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter !
