Le Bistrot du Prince Noir

Stopped in Monflanquin for some lunch and found this place by accident. Lovely staff and good selection of food. Hadn't planned on eating too much but everything was so good we ended up having three courses and coffee. Every meal was well prepared and tasted excellent - can definitely recommend this restaurant. As a bonus the coffee was lovely and hot and the toilets were spotless 10/10

What an excellent restaurant this place is! We went to this restaurant as a party of six. We took three course set menus for €25 each which we thought was value for money and there may be a compromise somewhere. However, every course was delicious. The beef steak nearly melted to the touch and the deserts done to perfection.

The service and price of the restaurant was excellent on every level and I can only highly recommend this restaurant as a must go to place in Monflanquin. One of the best restaurants I have been to and really is brilliant value!

A delicious meal, exquisite flavours, very good service, water and nibbles to start, good wine, beautiful views, made the end of a very enjoyable day out in France, merci

Lovely lunch in a beautiful setting. The waiting staff are all friendly and helped us with our French. The food was tasty and cooked just how we asked for it. The desserts were fantastic.....share the trio of desserts for a treat

Beautiful restaurant, lovely food. Staff very friendly and helpful. We didn't have a reservation as we were on holiday, although the restaurant was extremely busy, tables were added in to facilitate us. Nothing was a problem for the staff.

Entrees had cut meats. Pretty good. Then my big mouth ordered a burger... And the burger couldn't fit :) great burger, good fries, and dessert we had the mixed desserts. Nothing complex but great execution and taste to match. Well recommended!!
