Camping Neuville

The site is located 15 minutes outside Le Mans on the outskirts of a quiet village. We had a very warm welcome from the owner and given a choice of pitches. The pitches are very generous in size and close to the facilities. The facilities are excellent and well finished. The owners have clearly taken a lot of time and effort to make the whole site relaxing. The gardens are beautiful and there is also access to a lovely swimming pool.

Wow ! What a lovely campsite. Beautiful gardens with flowers and lots of birds. Spacious pitches, friendly owners. Fabulous toilets and showers like a boutique hotel. It was lovely to have a dip in the pool and laze on the sun loungers with parasol during the hot weather.
Will stay more than one night and explore the area better next time.

Wow , what a beautiful natural campsite in a stunning location, facilities are absolutely fantastic and are spotlessly clean 😀 the owners are so friendly and can't do enough for you , wish we staying a few days more .So peaceful and quiet to relax in a beautiful location. Stayed at Camping Neuville last week, having first stayed at the site back in 2017. It's amazing to see how they've transformed the place. The gardens are absolutely stunning and the facilities are superb, will definitely be back again!

Super location very tranquil!
Town has a shop, bakery, butcher and pizza machine.
Amazing owners, would give 10 stars but unfortunately cannot do.
Super warm welcome, in my time of crisis.
Modern sanitair and toilet paper.
Way better than other campsites i have visited in france.
They helped me above and beyond to get my moped fixed.
No words could begin to describe how much they have helped me. Even while managing the campsite.
Frankly wouldn’t have been able to finish my journey.
Truly people with a good heart.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay with our caravan heading home from Spain.
Martyn the owner was very welcoming and gave us a guided tour on arrival which was good.
The site is very peaceful and the owners like it this way which is reassuring!!
The toilets and shower block are all new and beautifully kept with plenty of hot water on demand.
The site is laid out very well with lovely flowers and plants, most pitches are totally flat with electricity and water close to the pitch.
WiFi is available for free on the site and worked well for our stay.
A quick 5 min walk (no need to use a car) and you are in the local village with a supermarket, rotisserie, restaurants and even a pharmacy!!
If you do want to venture in to Le Mans it is only 15mins away by car, so perfect for visiting the city or famous race track and museum!!
Overall I can highly recommend the site if you are looking for a peaceful getaway amongst nature!! We will definitely be back next year!!

We spent 2 nights at this fabulous site which is owned and run by a lovely couple. The pitches are spacious and are like having your own private garden area. The shower/toilet/washing facilities are the best we’ve seen on a site. The pool is just a lovely and welcome extra. Can walk into the little village for all your supplies - fab butcher and bakery and grocery store. There are some lovely rescue donkeys staying on site and you are surrounded by birdsong and a lovely relaxed feeling of being in the heart of nature next to a little river. We loved it here and will most definately be back again sometime. Only 15 mins from Le Mans, don’t hesitate to book if you are in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay, the Powells x

We stopped here en route to Caen from the Med. We planned to stay just 1 night but stayed 2 as its such a lovely campsite. There are beautiful flower beds all over and each pitch is well defined with hedges. The couple who own it are English and very helpful. It's a short walk to the village for basics. A short drive gets you to a hypermarket. The pool with sun loungers and umbrellas is a real bonus in the heat of summer.

We had a very pleasant one night stay at this lovely campsite in our Motorhome. The new swimming pool is open and was very refreshing for a dip at the end of a very hot day. Our pitch was large with plenty of shade. Water and electricity on the pitch and service point for when you leave.

The owners, an English couple, are working hard on the site which has an abundance of flowers and trees making it very attractive.

The showers are unisex but clean and prettily decorated. There are toilets which are spotlessly clean and are currently being redecorated (loos are done - just the doors to go!). Separate urinals for the chaps.

We took the dogs to the nearby mill stream for a dip which they loved.

We would like to have gone into Le Mans in the bus but it appeared to only run twice daily from the village. We will return and stay for longer as it’s an excellent base for exploring the area. Thanks Martyn for your hospitality!

We happened upon this campsite by chance as a stop over, what a lovely peaceful little idyll and much more than just a stop over. The site is run by an English couple who were very kind and helpful. Its is situated 12 minutes drive from Le Mans city centre but in peaceful countryside and 5 minutes walk from the local village shops. Boarded by open countryside and next to the river Sarthe and a local beauty spot where the locals paddle. The site is full of mature boarders and wild flowers tended to by the lady owner, these attract an array of butterflies and pollinators. The pitches are large and spacious and there is a new swimming pool, the amenities block has just been renovated and was spotlessly clean. We thus returned for two nights on our way back to the UK to unwind. Will definitely be back. Thank you again for letting us stay at your campsite.

I was doing some Solo motorcycle touring, no plan or route planned, I stayed everywhere for one night and then moved on but I stayed here for 2 nights! It’s such a quiet little spot to chill and relax, I did my washing using the clothes wash basins on site which is very handy! Don’t need a washing machine for a few bits and bobs, the toilets and showers were absolutely spot on, very modern and well kept, the owners are always about doing bits keeping on top of the maintenance, there’s a swimming pool which is in a awesome spot and again it was spotless! Plenty of sunlight but also lots of parasols for shade, the gardens around the site are fantastic and at night there’s a few hedgehogs wandering around which I think is good to see! I was camping in my tent but the owners gave me a lovely spot with a big table and a tree over my tent for shade. It’s a 5 minute walk to the shop in the village and they have most things you’d need food and drink wise.
I would definitely recommend and hopefully one day I’ll be passing again and I’ll definitely have a couple nights of RnR.

Beautiful campsite, run by a British couple. Right next to a lovely little river bank where the dogs can play in the river. Nice and quiet campsite, huge pitches which are surrounded by hedges so nice and private. Was supposed to stay one night, ended up staying for two. Perfect place to unwind. Close to Le Mans which is definitely worth a visit.

A lovely site yet still a work in progress. Reopened six years ago after fallow for eight years. New pool about to open July 2023. Half site still to be developed. British owners with assorted animals, some with freedom of site. Excellent toilet block, still being tiled. Soap, paper, toilet seats. Detergent in dishwashing areas. Good range of shade/sunshine, your choice of pitches. Power and water close at hand for each, good WiFi on ours. Restaurant at beauty spot next door. Good walks from the campsite. Well stocked shop in the village. Railway Station (to Le Mans) an easy walk. Certainly worth returning.

Great campsite, very friendly owners. Good pitches and very clean shower/toilet block. Bus number 211 takes you into Le Mans or you can take the train. Lovely little town with shops just a few minutes walk away. Fantastic plants surround the campsite and a lovely river close by. Highly recommended.

Having being let down by a neighbouring campsite last minute, we phoned Louise and were overjoyed to be allowed to book last minute. The site is amazing, pool fantastic and Martin was a real gentleman. Cannot recommend this campsite enough. Don’t look for any other campsite in Lemans, this is the only one you should use. Wish there was a six star options. Thanks guys- you made our weekend.

This is a pleasant quiet campsite for a stay or transit, pleasant British owners with a good sense of humor and "the lady of the manor" does her best to put the plants and flowers in the right place. The sanitary facilities are excellent and the campsite is an excellent walking distance from the village where there is a bakery, butcher and supermarket in the center. this campsite is definitely recommended.

An excellent campsite close to Le Mans and a lovely village within easy walking distance, which has a boulangerie, a shop and a butcher. We spent 5 nights here (had planned only 2) - the pitches are large and private, separated by hedges. The site is well maintained with perfectly clean facilities. The owners went above and beyond to make the stay both relaxing and memorable. Thank you - we will be back!

And so we returned. This is a great campsite with access to the river. The new pool looked great but as it rained non stop while we were there we didn't get to try it. Lots of level pitches to choose from amongst the trees and gardens.

Stayed for 1 night at very short notice and owner was very welcoming. Tranquil grounds . Showers spot on. We would have liked to have stayed longer but this was a stop over on the way to Bordeaux.

Lovely forest woodland campsite. Clean and fully functional facilities, cracking pool. Another campsite cancelled our booking and closed their site because they only had 2 bookings,
Didn’t have the courtesy to call. Camping Neuville came up trumps.
