We decided on this place after reading one review. It lived up to expectations. Outstanding food. Highly recommended.

Friendly service, beautiful terrace, and fantastic food. Very refined taste combinations.

Please be aware that great cooks, serving quality, do small menus :-) Also, the menu changes regularly.

Found this restaurant on Google maps as nearest one that was open. Glad we did as it was brilliant. The waiter endured our attempts at French and was very courteous and accommodating. The food was very delicious and we all left feeling full and satisfied.

I found this restaurant about 14 years ago during a days canoeing down the Vezere. My friends and I beached our canoes at the bridge and walked 1 km into Tursac in the hope of finding sustenance after consecutive capsizes robbed us of a massive sandwich and a bottle of wine. We stayed for two hours eating wonderful food and consuming good wines. We returned two nights later with our wives and children.
The following years we returned twice each holiday.
It has been a number of years since our last visit but we have again returned, once for lunch and again tonight for dinner.
All the dishes are lovingly prepared with fresh produce of the day by the new French owners.

I booked the first visit in person as I was preparing a days canoeing with my son, daughter and their families.

The main course was to be pork and I explained that my wife did not eat pork. The next day we arrived to find they had prepared a vegetarian dish for her.

If you are in the area I recommend you eat here not only for the food but the way in which your hosts will look after you.

C'est un dejeuner magnifique! We are traveling Americans and know we had a truly French experience. The food and service were amazing. The atmosphere is pure joy. Merci beaucoup!

They renovated complete restaurant after TV program. You feel the new energy from owners. Very Friendly Dutch couple, Food and Wine were perfect!

A very enjoyable lunch at Restaurant La Source. The food was seasonal, excellently prepared and tasty, in a very relaxed atmosphere.

One of the best meals we've had in the Dordogne region. The owners are nice and talkative, and the food was delicious.

Une parenthèse enchantée !
Ce restaurant est une pépite bien cachée à Tursac. La cuisine du chef n’a d’égale que la gentillesse de son épouse.
Les plats sont savoureux et copieux. Nous avons passé un très bon moment , un peu hors du temps et dans une ambiance douce et bienveillante.Le menu enfant est très bien et les trois grandes se sont régalées à la carte tout comme les 4 parents.
Tout a été parfait. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle soirée .

“La Source” is weer volledig in ere hersteld en hoe!! Frans echtpaar met passie en originele keuken + goede wijn(en) in een prachtig Frans typisch Dordogne restaurant (je). In de zomer kun je zitten in de paradijselijke tuin. Eten zowel menu als a la carte met verrassende keuzes. Reserveren kan nodig zijn want dit restaurant gaat zeker in het hoogseizoen regelmatig volgeboekt worden.

Déco très sympa et jardin adorable ( même si la météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la terrasse)

Petit resto trouvé par hasard et nous ne sommes vraiment pas déçu !
Tout était très bon nous nous sommes regalés de l'entree au dessert !!
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si nous revenons dans le coin.

Une très jolie découverte, nous avons super bien mangé, le repas pour les enfants étaient également excellent, du fait maison qui régale les papilles.
Accueil très chaleureux malgré une arrivée tardive.
Nous recommandons vivement ce restaurant.

Au top vraiment. Ils sont très accueillants, très sympathiques. Cadre reposant et très beau dans le jardin où l’on peut aller se balader. Le repas était très bon, du début à la fin. Et le vin servi à table était parfait, bio et on avait même l’explication de la fabrication du vin. Vraiment au top, à faire absolument 👍🏻
