Chez Robert is a lovely and informal restaurant. We enjoyed the wonderful, high quality food. English chef Robert beats many other local restaurants in my opinion. Highly recommended. Remember to bring cash!

Had a very enjoyable lunch today. Charming waitress, lovely fresh flavours from the menu midi, all in a delightful location.

We loved our stay here in Saint Jean de Côle. Robert is a charming and welcoming host, not to mention a brilliant chef. The food here really is excellent. The beef Wellington I had was definitely one of best pieces of beef I’ve ever had. Thankyou!

Had a fabulous few days with my friend in Saint Jean de Cole. Absolutely stunning village with a cute coffee shop and beauty spots nearby. Also close to rivers for kayaking and lakeside beaches. Robert’s food was out of this world, and he was a very generous host. We had a beautiful, spacious bedroom. I would definitely recommend booking a trip!

I have eaten at this restaurant a number of times. The food is outstanding and the host is most charming! The rooms are very clean and rustic with a lovely ensuite. The breakfast is very delicious, great value for money, eggs, bacon, sausages, yoghurt and fruits and tea and coffee all cooked freshly for when you request!

The most beautiful meal: Wild mushroom risotto to start, lamb with fig, orange and dauphinoise potatoes for main, followed by the most delicious lemon gratin. Robert is the consummate host and a chef of great distinction. We will be back, many times.

Robert runs his B&B and restaurant with great passion. We had a wonderful stay in one of the lovely rooms and enjoyed his (large!) tasty breakfast. A real gem in this magical French village. We definetely come back!

The food is absolutely exquisite! Really recommend the cabecou salad and lobster lasagne! Michelin star quality for a fraction of the price! The host is also very charming, all in all a great find

What a great place! We had lunch at this charming restaurant. The owner was all alone but managed it perfectly! He is amazingly kind and serves delicious food!

Robert es encantador y tanto él como la camarera ( que viniendo de Ucrania se ha esforzado mucho en hacerse entender) nos han atendido muy bien!

Une adresse qui gagne à être connue! Robert est absolument charmant, et sa cuisine est excellente. Le tournedos de bœuf fondait en bouche, un délice. En entrée, le pâté de canard était super moelleux… et en dessert, le gratin au citron et le gâteau ricotta chocolat noisettes se sont battus pour la première place, mais pas de vainqueur suprême!!
Tout cela, avec un service aux petits soins. Merci pour ce beau moment!

Nous avons passé un excellent moment "chez Robert". Cuisine raffinée, produits frais... Au TOP de A à Z. De plus, nous avons été très bien accueillis et servis. Une très belle découverte à St Jean de Côle.
