Le Petit Boudoir De La Besse

My sister, nephew and I had the most amazing time here. My nephew was in love with all the animals, which even include 2 rescue donkeys. John and Karyn couldn't do more for us. It's a little country paradise. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. The flowers were just starting to bud and Karyn was showing me all the different flowers that will bloom. I must return so I can see it all in bloom because it will be stunning. I had a sore neck from my travels so I booked in for a massage session with Karyn and it was incredible. She really helped my pain go away so I could enjoy my stay.

It's clear from the negative comments that a guest did not respect this lovely family during the pandemic and are now on the war path to drop the ratings in a childish manner. I can tell you that this place is amazing and the family are very sweet and accommodating. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you for everything and we look forward to returning and recommending this place to all our friends and family ♥

This is a perfect setting for a family holiday or a quiet couples break. The gites are immaculate and the most well equipment I have come across. The pool is beautiful and a welcome addition. It's a perfect base for discovering the local lakes and beautiful rustic French towns. The hosts could not be more welcoming and accomodating. I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location, wonderful gites and fantastic hosts.
Nothing is too much for them, the gites are stocked with everything you can think of. The pool is a fantastic addition in these hot summer months. Simply a wonderful part of the country and a fantastic stay for us all.

This is a little piece of tranquility. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. The hosts are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Great location for visiting surrounding attractions, lakes, night markets etc. Lovely gardens and pool area at the gites. I would recommend Le Petit Boudoir for anyone to stay and I will definitely be coming back to stay again.

We had walks in the Stunning Countryside and better still cooled off in the gorgeous pool, even managed a relaxing treatment or two...Thank you, looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic Gîtes - well equipped, spotlessly clean & superbly appointed, beautiful pool, extremely friendly and helpful owners - all set in a quiet hamlet in the heart of beautiful rural France.

Btw you can disregard the one star reviews - they are from a group of aggrieved ex guests who wanted to party noisily in to the small hours - assuming you don’t want to do that then Le Petit Boudoir de la Besse is just great.

Fabulous energy in this gorgeous spot in rural France. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, they went above and beyond to help us make our stay so enjoyable. I had a sumptuous treatment with Karyn, relaxing and gave me my mojo back. Thank you so much x

Perfect location for a rural French getaway. The hosts cannot be more welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. This was my second visit and I will be returning.

Excellent welcoming staff, superbly clean gites. The area is pretty with lots of walks. Lakes nearby too.

Malgré le mauvais temps, nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la maison de Karine et John. Ils ont ete tres a l écoute et reactifs à nos demandes, tout en restant tres discrets.
Je ne comprends pas les évaluations tres negatives postees précédemment.
La maison est top, piscine, jacuzzi, jeux pour les enfants, animaux. Idéal pour les petits et les grands, en famille et entre amis.
Nous avons également testé les massages. Karine a été tres à l écoute de nos besoins. La langue n'est en aucun cas une barrière à la communication.

Si j'avais pu mettre plus que 5 étoiles, je les auraient mises. Je ne comprends en aucun cas les commentaires présents sur ces avis. Une hôte qui fait l'effort de nous parler français, nous propose de l'aide, très serviable, accueillante. Et la maison MAGNIFIQUE un pur Havre de paie. Nous sommes toutes d'accord que nous reviendrons

Quelques précisions sur cette réponse bien trop exagérée.
Effectivement nous avons dû quitter le logement suite à des plaintes infondées auprès de airbnb. Tout d’abord, nous étions moins que prévu sur la réservation (8 sur 12 d’autant que certains partaient pour que d’autres arrivent le lendemain).

De plus la musique est restée a volume très raisonnable jusqu’à 2h du matin. N’oublions pas de préciser que le logement de l’hôte est mitoyen à celui que l’on vous propose avec vue sur tout ce que vous faites ce qui ne vous est aucunement montré sur les photos présentées.

Lorsqu’on loue une maison pour 12 personnes, quelques nuisances sonores mêmes raisonnables (portières de voiture et musique basse) sont peut être à accepter. Je n’ose même pas parler du règlement plus que strict, communiqué lorsque la réservation n’est plus annulable.

En résumé, propriétaire intrusif et désagréable. Ne parle pas un mot de français et ne souhaite en aucun cas communiquer. Seul l'aspect financier ne semble compter (tout est en supplément !). A fuir !

Seul l’argent ne semble compter ; le moindre service supplémentaire est payant (se chauffer, changer un drap ou une serviette par exemple)
Le compteur saute plusieurs fois par jours.
Mais surtout, règlement intérieur très strict et communiquer seulement après encaissement et lorsque vous ne pouvez plus vous rétracter. Aucuns bruits strict (ne serai ce qu’une portière de voiture) après 23h sinon visite désagréable de Madame et/ou Monsieur dès 23h15.
Propriétaires intrusifs, habitent dans la partie mitoyenne très proche de ce qu’on vous propose mais qui ne vous est pas montrer sur l'annonce.
En résumé, idéal pour un séjour en famille si vos enfants ne pleurent et ne jouent pas en rigolant trop fort, ou entre amis si votre projet est de tout éteindre et tout arrêter dès 23h.
Ne parlent pas français et ne souhaitent en aucun cas discuter.
Déplorable. A éviter.
