Le Pavé d'Auge

I recently dined at Gourmet Restaurant Le Pave d”Auge, and I must say, the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and elegant. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making me feel truly valued.

But the true star of the evening was the food. Each dish that graced the table was a masterpiece of flavors and presentation. The attention to detail in every plate was evident, and it was evident that the chefs put their heart and soul into crafting each dish.

The menu was a delightful journey through various culinary traditions, offering a perfect balance between classic favorites and innovative creations. The ingredients were undoubtedly fresh and of the highest quality, resulting in a symphony of tastes that danced on my taste buds.

What a wonderful dining experience! This cozy restaurant is located on the central square of a beautiful old village. The food was excellent, creative yet not pretentious, well presented, with top notch service. Reasonably priced, including a broad range of wine prices on the wine list. This restaurant is a must try!

Very far from all the "wannabe Parisian stylish" restaurants from Trouville or Deauville, here the menu is short and straightforward - just like the prices. The products are top notch and cooking executed with that sort of 'simplicity' that brings mastery to excellence, keeping each ingredient as a star: simple touches that all combined together create a wonderful and delicious experience! Service is helpful, attentive, efficient and very nice. Both starters and mains had a great veggie option that makes your otherwise 'common' veggie dish blush with shame. Great in all aspects! Highly recommended!

We ate lunch here 6 days ago, and it remains the best experience of our trip through Normandy and Brittany so far. I finally understand why French cuisine is so exceptional - every dish, and the little tasters in between, was an adventure and delight using mainly regional produce. The service was also fantastic: the maître d', with great kindness and gentle humour, explained everything to us in English, the chef took time to visit each table, and the waiting staff, a young diverse group, were highly skilled. Thank you to the team at Le Pavé d'Auge for this lovely memory.

A spontaneous decision to visit for lunch whilst strolling through the village and we were welcomed with open arms. Exceptional service whilst never being pretentious.
The meal was a true culinary adventure for both of us.
Local specialities & flavours abound without being overbearing. It was an added delight to meet the Chef.

Not pretentious, not stuffy, simply great food,wines and service. The chef came out to visit each table... Quality, but not expensive.

Indulging experience. Located in the middle of the marketplace, nicely renovated. Carefully selected ingredients, transformed into delicious dishes.

Thes best overall dining experience I have ever had. My partner and I booked for lunch on our way back to the Caen ferry. I've eaten in Michelin-starred restaurants (one 2*), before and after but this was the best!
The food was excellent, the presentation was fantastic...but the service was absolutely perfect...unobtrusive but attentive - faultless!
I would love to go back there after the pandemic is over.

Absolutely delicious restaurant, in one of the most beautiful villages of France. It’s been 8 years now that we’ve come every summer and try the new menus. Never fails each time we leave the restaurant happy. And I recommend for the desert the Soufflé au Grand Marnier, best desert!!!!

Best restaurant I've ever been. It's not a joke. All dishes are made so elegantly, so you feel new taste in them, even with ingredients you've eaten hundreds of times before.

We've been going to the Pavè d'Auge for over 15 years -in and out of season- and every visit is a fantastic experience of French Cuisine at its best. Set in middle of the central square of the picturesque village of Beuvron en Auge, the culinary experience is staged in a most beautiful setting. Looking forward to our next visit!

Magical starred restaurant in a historic building with exceptional food and amazing service. One of the best food experiences I've had, anywhere. A crime not to go!

My friend and I happened on this restaurant on our road trip it was definitely one of the highlights go for the full menu you will not regret it 😋
