A compact super market, very well stocked and and it was open on Sunday what can be live saving for tourists who don't know that most shops is closed on Sunday. Very nice staff and not very busy.

Quite unfortunate for the shop management when it comes to shoplifting. I witnessed how three female stocked several goods under their clothings and also inside a baby parambulator and walked past the cashier without payment. I tried explaining to the cashier and staff what I witnessed but responded that it is a usual thing. They later explained they will check the camera with the manager. I hope people follow simple law and order.

This is a small grocery store in Saint-Genis Pouilly. You will find all sorts of groceries, fresh produce, feuits, breads, frozen, ready to eat, meats and deli, alcoholic and non-alcholic beverages, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, etc.

If you go to the register and see a handsome man wearing a béret, you know you are in luck. You will experience the bliss of being Pierre diffed, watching the other customers depressed faces as Pierre himself will scan the wares of 10 customers, as if playing laser tag, and go for 2 smoke brakes, in the time it takes the other cashier ladies to drop your milk and pick it back up (you will have to remind them, they forget that they dropped it if there is more than 3 wares to scan).
Seeing Pierre in Carrefour is one of the rare events, that makes Saint Genis even that much more beautiful.

Got everything we needed. Compared to Switzerland prices what it's next to, it is better.

I really enjoyed shopping in carrefour supermarket. From time to time I go to Ferney because of this supermarket. Good quality products and cheaper prices.

Totally worth the visit. Good assortment + good price if coming from across the border.

Nice quiet small town lot’s of green pleasant to have a walk

All the basic groceries and hygiene products can be found in this store. It even has international section.

This is a smallish supermarket, but very good value, and interestingly, it has an extremely wide range of produce, and seems to have almost everything, including items that other, much larger supermarkets in the area, might not have. Quite often I go to some of the larger supermarkets to get specific items, but then end up *still* having to go to Carrefour to get some of the things that I could not get at the larger supermarket. The queues used to be quite long if you got there less than 30 minutes before closing, but they open quite late for the region, and the queues are much more reasonable these days. Most importantly, they open until 12:30 on Sundays ! when most other places don't open at all. I don't speak very good french, but even so, the staff are always very friendly and very helpful. They also have a small petrol station.

It is not a very big supermarket, still one can find almost every necessary goods here. Products are good and cheap. It is very near to CERN. So it is convenient to take a Y-bus from CERN's main entrance towards France to reach Carrefour market. A strong recommendation from my side. 😊

I like this market. It is not very big, but there is everything I usually need. Sometimes is a lack of products and there could be more vegetarian food.

It is 6:20 pm... I just met the nicest cashier ever in France..! Even my kids said whouaaa nice man.

Supermarket has every food you want on shells and a nice service

Small and not best prices, but super convenient location and often quick for in and out

Megros has more product, but they don't sell anything with alcohol. Carrefour has it all.
