Jardin Vauban

One of the best parks in the city of Lille. Perfect for a morning jog or picnics (if the weather allows it). Bus stations in proximity and there are several restaurants nearby. Parking is also available but it's paying (?)

It was a really a cool experience. Went out when It was warm and sunny on the day after Easter. They had a circus at the park next to us. But all the college students where out at the park just chilling and laying in the sun. Drinking beer enjoying the day. Played a little football saw some guys playing soccer. Really was a cool day!

Nice scenery and walking and bike paths. The citadel has apparently been closed off for over a decade now though.

Nice settings, peaceful and quiet, lovely little grotto. Should have taken a picnic.

One of our favourite parks. Our preschooler loves exploring the natural tunnel.

It's a cute little garden in the city. Very easily accessible.
You find all sorts of people (and I mean ALL sorts) at different times of day, all year round.
In cold winters the pond freezes over and makes the place look even more beautiful.
It's packed in summer in the warm days.

A really nice park that is excellent to take a breather and touch grass in an otherwise very concrete-ladder city.

Amazing place for a walk, jogging or relaxing

Easily my most favorite park in Lille. I love the views and waterfalls. The wide groomed trails allows for a nice brisk pace or a run. Lots of benches and grass to just relax and enjoy the day.

Nice park with some restaurants inside. My friend told me you can meet monkeys there but I didn't have chance to see them yet.
