We had a great lunch today 2 very tasty salads I had the duck just fantastic in a lovely shaded spot in a great old city on market day. The staff were very friendly and did well on a busy day Thank you.

Great place in the shade on a hot day for lunch. Great menu, great service with plenty of atmosphere on the street but away from the pedestrians. Great selection of drinks and food served by polite sociable staff. Recommended.

We were in Bergerac for a week and this easily became our favourite haunt. Great beer, Meteor IPA, and great, well priced food. Very friendly staff.

Spent our afternoon at this restaurant drinking cocktails and beer and decided to have dinner there as well. Had a delicious duck heart and entrecote and the service was very pleasant as well.

We had an excellent evening meal here recently. Our food and wine were good and all nicely served by our charming waitress. Reasonably priced too.

Stopped with the intention of just having a couple of drinks, but stayed for food....and more drinks! After 3 days of sampling the finest wine Bergerac has to offer we decided to try a cocktail or two. My Long Island Iced Tea was prepared perfectly with floating spirit and sours and sunken cola. Delicious! My companion opted for the Aperol Spritz as they seemed popular at other tables. A perfectly chilled aperitif and equally as delicious. 2nd drink for me was a repeat of the L.I.I.T which was just as good as the first. Companion opted for a Whiskey Sour which was 10/10 with a perfectly balanced creaminess, smokey whiskey and sour taste with a perfectly sour boozy cherry bathing in the alcohol.

And so to the food. I wasn't too hungry so decided on the 8€ chicken wings, my companion went for the Beef Tartare at 18€. My wings were well cooked with a grilled, crispy skin. Large, full wings with drumette, middle and tip, dressed lightly with a sweet, mustardy sauce. Delicious and actually very filling. The Tartare was a full meal with home cooked fries, tomato and lettuce salad, a basket of bread with the main event a coarsely chopped seasoned steak, served with a fresh and creamy egg yolk. Tender, juicy and perfectly balanced seasonings with a separate, creamy cornichon sauce. Only slight criticism was that the tartare was a bit too chilled, but it didn't detract from the texture and flavour.

Highly recommended and will return!

Friendly, tasty and a great location.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. The town is beautiful and the food was excellent. We sat outside as we had our did and they have her water and looked after is very well despite our lack of language skills.

The staff and the owner are super friendly and their spritz revisté is fabulous. My local, you could say. They even provide water for your dog without you asking.
