Piopa Lasagna Restaurant

With only one day in France this trip, I was reluctant to eat non-French food, but I was so glad I tried this place. The lasagna here is really unique. It maybe has their own local twist so doesn't seem like you can get it anywhere else. I had the salmon lasagna with a side salad, and the creamy sauce was divine. Service was also very friendly. Would love to come back if in Metz again!

The restaurant was fully booked during lunchtime, so we didn't get a table. But the host was very kind and booked a table for us for dinner. We even got a complimentary glass of prosecco. All in all, it was a great experience. The handmade pasta and gnocchi were delicious, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

As I was strolling down the street toward Muse Mall, I realized I was feeling a bit hungry. Across the street, a sign: Lasagne Caffe. I mean, I couldn't say no so I didn't!

Although the menu offers a variety of dishes, drinks, and desserts, I'd never tried lasagne in France and I was very curious so I opted for the classic - traditional! It definitely tasted different from lasagne in Chicago and New York (creamier) but it was good! And I loved the breadstick, too - rustic and flavorful!

Best Lasagna in Metz hands down! The staff are very friendly and most speak English. Parking is very easy next door at Pompidou.

Fast service, good food, fair prices.
We had two menus, lasagna and drink, and lasagna, drink and dessert, 43€ for all. Both lasagnas were quite good, the dessert was quite good as well.
We were pleasantly surprised with this place as it was our first visit, will revisit for sure.

It was one of the rare service in France. Very welcoming, genuinely service oriented and smiling.
Food is great and not expensive. Decor ia beautiful. Perfect location.

I've dined at Piopa 3 times, cozy restaurant with fantastic waiters. The guys are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is also satisfying. I'll surely revisit next time I'm in Metz.

very good music, noble ambience and really tasty food! we had the flambina vegetaria and gnocci with champignons. great view, very friendly service and the crême brulé was amazing!

I strongly recommend visiting the place and try their bread and pastries, croissant and baguette are one of the best, employees welcoming with their smiles will light your day .

Amazing tbh! We were welcomed by the owner with a glass of wine and chatted through the marathon / races of the day. The food was sensational. I am vegetarian and there were a number of choices on offer.... and so much of it! Great packages with meal / drink / dessert or combos to choose from! Great find on our visit to Metz from Wales! Highly recommend 👍🙏
