J'ai été accueilli par un monsieur très sympathique et pédagogue.

Parfait ! Vehicule très propre avec un rapport qualité prix au dessus de la moyenne des agences, personnel d'agence très pro et location/remise sans prise de tête.

Service bien

scammed into an upgrade for a "gti" version that was automatic with satnav, he repeated this 3xs whilst explaining why this was better. Got to the car, massive dent in the door, service light Red, not a GTI just base level model, no Satnav and no automatic gearbox. when we returned to the guy (after eventually getting through the queue) told that he said it was like an automatic and the satnav was an app on our phones that we could connect to the car speakers... There also werent any other available cars and as we were restricted by timings, had to accept what was available.

Oh and to add insult to injury the 20 euro upgrade he quoted us was actually 25 euro when we got billed.... Terrible, use any of the other car rentals at Lille station, avoid this one

This in the parking for the rentals is an incredibly difficult place to find and set up unless you know all of the other rental associations that Thrifty Car Rental has. It took several tries and several calls to figure out where I was going and how to get both to the parking lot and to the office. There were no instructions in the parking area and there was no real indication of the reliability of leaving the keys or the vehicle there
