This is a lovely little bar, very reasonably priced. It's open on Sundays when most other places are shut.

Although the do not serve food here, the variety of drinks is good. Piña colada is done in a different way than I am used to (way less milk, tastes like pineapw juice with alcohol), but wine is great, I can recommend Chardonnay and rosé. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, so definitely worth visiting

It's a lovely bar in Lille. Has a great ambience to it. (At least it is an ambience that pleases me ;) )

We had reserved the first floor to conduct plays and have our friends be spectators.

The space is great for a private party for 0 to 15 people.

I highly recommend this place either for a coffee or a beer 😁 The place is a bit small but has an amazing atmosphere. As you can see it is possible to play chess! As for prices, espresso costed 1,5€ and americano 2€.
You have to try out the cherry beer (on the pic), best one I have ever tried! For 5€ 🍺
There is one toilet upstairs 😊

I had to bridge 4 hours between meeting and accidentally ran into l'Illustration. It appeared to become one of the highlights of my visit to Lille! A very relaxed atmosphere indeed with an extremely nice barkeeper! When I would return to Lille, I'll be most definitely returning! Oh and not to forget very LGBT friendly!
