Very nice, atmospheric and historical hotel. A very beautiful area for breakfast, as well as delicious croissants. The service both at the reception and at the bar was very pleasant and of high quality.

Amazing place. Personnel at reception was extremely helpfull and kind.I would like to thank them for all the recommemdations with regards to restaurants and extended check-out. Breakfast had a variety of hot dishes which we enjoyed. Bed was really comfortable and room was impeccable with an old charm. Hotel seemed like a museum so we felt overwhelmed with emotions every time we walked around.

This hotel is very nice and has amazing staff that treat you really well. I enjoyed my stay very much and everything was a short walk. The gardens inside and the chapel of the hotel are amazing and give you our old world feel. It’s a wonderful place to stay and I recommend the city tour a great deal every Saturday by the tourist office.

A stunning hotel in a great location, we got engaged here 12 years ago and revisited again this week to enjoy a celebratory champagne in their beautiful bar. This hotel will forever hold special memories for us.

This is a great hotel with many pros but also a number of problems. If they fix the problems, this hotel can be the reason for many guests to come back to Lille city and enjoy a luxury stay, including myself.
The building is huge and impressive with lots of historical character, and given its renovations, it is a beautiful blend of modern and classic architecture. It literally has places for you to explore, like a little museum, with beautiful green courtyards, old spaces that resemble a classic church or gathering area, and lots of architectural details, including sculptures. There is even a modern bar with nice, contemporary furniture.

The room I had was large and beautiful with a unique layout and a beautiful modern bathroom. It had a cute classic space in the sleeping area with French furniture and a comfy bed. Even in the bedroom, there were some nice attention to details such as beautiful French picture frames, wooden walls, and exposed old wooden structures. The hotel has a cute pool and spa rooms that are all modern and nicely designed. The staff were also professional, kind, and helpful. A guy at the reception even gave me a tour. The hotel also has very good access to key areas. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend it for a very unique experience.

There were some drawbacks too. Firstly, in the breakfast room, although the space was beautiful and historical and even the choice of French furniture was nice, the breakfast itself was very modest with very limited options. All the hot items had below average quality, and the plates and glasses were not as clean as I wanted. But the croissants and sweet stuff were very nice, though overall the breakfast didn't give me a luxury or 5-star vibe at all. Some of the modern art painting pieces across the hotel spaces were cheap and should be replaced with more authentic modern art paintings. In some of the old parts of the building, they have only painted the old walls to make it feel fresh with dark colors, instead of exposing the original bricks, and it kinda felt a little spooky in some of these areas, such as some of the corridors. The bathroom basin was made of a nice stone but was not perfectly cleaned. Some appliances, such as the hairdryer, were old and not up to standards. The same goes for the equipment to make tea or coffee, which were not at a 5-star level. The TV is located in the wrong place, so it's not practical to watch TV. The Wi-Fi internet was sometimes very poor. Overall, more effort is needed to bring a luxury feeling to the rooms, corridors, and the breakfast

The service we received went way above the term customer service, customer support too. Nothing was too much trouble. Extremely friendly and thoughtful.
Food and wine at the Restaurant was outstanding.
Fantastic old building, full of character blended with Hi tech glass and stainless steel. The hotel bar is a light and airy space and again with courteous service in the evening after a evening out.
A few names I can remember were Eve, Thomas and Clark. Keep up the good work. You have set new standards in customer service and quality.

We spent here our weekend gateway and we loved the stay very much! This is a historic building with a bit strange layout and room footprint was not standard, but it all makes this place very charming. Service was excellent. For beer fans I can recommend a local beer available at the bar.

This is such a lovely historic hotel in Lille. I stayed here during the annual La Grande Braderie weekend and it was the perfect location. I was greeted warmly at the front desk and escorted to my room after check in. The room was huge by any standard and chocolate in the room was a nice touch. At night, the attendant returned with a thank you card (and more chocolate...yum). The courtyard gardens were so beautiful and quiet. I will be back next year for sure!

Magnificent! This gorgeous hotel is perfect for your stay in Lille. Walk to the museums or center square and have a beer do some people watching. Enjoy their breakfast and pleasant staff who didn't laugh at my horrible broken french. Rooms are comfortable and we had a lovely night's sleep finally after days of not sleeping well elsewhere.

Amazing hotel. Lovely decor, incredible service, comfortable and quiet rooms. If you are in the Lille area then this should be your go to hotel option. Centrally located only a short walk from the main square, it has all the amenities you would want. Parking outside was easy and cheap.

A gem. Very nice hotel in a one star Michelin heritage landmark from the 1600s that is mentioned on the local tour bus route.

Terrific staff and fantastic rooms with considerable accessible heritage detail.

The restaurant food is very good, on par with neighboring restaurants.

Very close proximity to the historic centre of Lille. Also within walking distance of the bus terminal and train stations. Room was tidy and the front desk staff were very helpful. The interior design of the hotel was also quite impressive. I would return.

Very comfortable hotel in a good part of Lille. Room was air conditioned well (whilst Lille was 36oC) and very spacious. Staff were helpful. We swam in the Spa swimming pool which was €15 (for two people) for to access the swimming pool and steam room.

We didn’t bother with the breakfast or bar.

Staff were helpful. They offer car parking, but you have to hand over you keys to allow them to park it for you which is fine if you trust people with your car (I don’t).
