Absolutely wonderful meal, fantastic staff and service. Lovely decor and design to all aspects, all cutlery and glasses unique and beautiful!! It was such a light but richly delicious meal! Deserves multiple Michelen stars fr. Definitely worth every cent. A feast for the senses!

What a wonderful evening at this Michelin restaurant. I will let the food speak for themselves through your eyes.

The 'white' wine is interesting. Starts out amber and as it breathes, it gets darker.

We had a very delicious meal here on the 21 sept 2023. It was a birthday dinner so we opted for the surprise menu of 5 courses. Everything was really divinely delicious and I loved the glasses and original plates etc. We really enjoyed our meal and I highly recommend.

Refined cuisine de marché in the centre of Bergerac. Vege dishes are 🔥Kids friendly and great local wines. Thank you so much 😊

La Table du Marche is located right next to the covered market in the center of Bergerac, hence the name - the market table.

See ....
…. Straight from the entrance, it impresses with its modern style in the interior. The prints on the walls are eye-catchers, there are pillows on the sofas – the atmosphere is both stylish and modern, and cozy;
…. Each dish is beautiful and a visual masterpiece in itself - decorations with edible flowers, plates and trays are well chosen as a canvas for the beautiful "paintings" that were presented to us;
La Table du Marche has a high rating on the web and there is a reason - it is well worth a visit.

The restaurant does not have a Michelin star, but is included in the Michelin Guide and is a par excellence fine dining restaurant. 2 appetizers amuse bouche are served before the actual one chosen by you and 2 more desserts after the one chosen by you. The whole company is expected to gather to take the orders. So, my advice is, go all together, not like us in portions, because until we all got together, we'd been waiting a long time for the menus and orders to be handed out;
…. Each course of food is served to everyone at the same time.

…. The music is diverse, but ethno and jazz predominate, there was even one based on Bulgarian folklore.

Smell ....
…. The combinations of smells were fine and wonderfully combined, and from the very beginning of the amuse bouche this is felt;
…. Any variations of the nose from the various wines by glass, which you can combine on the recommendation of the waiters with the food;
…. Citrus scent - orange and lemon in the marshmallow served with the coffee. Brilliant idea, invigorated everyone in the company who tried it!
.... Ice cream with parsley and basil flavor in the dessert Chocolate delicacy - an ingenious combination!
…. I most admired the delicate aroma of the cheese in one of the desserts (which most of the palates of our Bulgarian company could not perceive well) - both in taste and aroma was so impressive and I'm sure I've never tasted anything like this before;

Taste ....
..... Goose liver, lamb, fish - whatever you choose, everything is very masterfully created and implemented;
…. The desserts were masterpieces of taste, aroma and color. With the coffee came more desserts - wonderful to the last detail!
To get a better idea, it is best to watch the movie!

Amazing service and food, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and great value for money for such high quality food.

This was a nice surprise booked at our request by Sylvia our hotel at "I Love Bergerac"
Our hotel. The welcome was warm and attentive the host was more than happy to explain the dishes as sadly our French is poor.
Their was surprise dishes between those we ordered and all were delicious. My duck was perfect and the tomato starter was delicious.
Look do not take my word for it book a table and go and be pleasantly surprised. It place had a fabulous decor and atmosphere.

An exceptional meal from mise en bouche through to dessert. Imaginative plating, fresh products married together in harmony, staff wonderful - I would highly recommend.

The food is, as I have indicated, absolutely worthy of the 5 stars we have given. We have eaten everywhere from Roca in Girona to Gordon Ramsay’s main restaurant in London and this meal sits easily with those meals. We were celebrating and had the 5 course menu which was the most expensive option but you can easily dine for much less than that here and the quality of the ingredients is absolute value for money. There is also an extensive wine list. With perfect service and attention to detail from Mr Cuzin this establishment is a must for anyone visiting or living in Bergerac.

The best restaurant in Dordogne. Brilliantly creative, elegant without fuss, every visit year after year is a precious moment.
Atmosphere and service match the food.

Went for the lunch menu on the recommendation of a family member. Incredibly good taste, ingredient quality, and value for money.

We had fish (a la image), an excellent salad, and a dessert.

Would definitely recommend and will certainly return.

A little delayed but heartful thanks to chef Stéphane Cuzin for making a memorable experience during our Dordogne Valley trip. This restaurant is in Michelin Guide, and offers tasting menus for 40 Eur as well as À la carte options. We ordered appetizers, fish, meat, the recommended bottle of bergerac wine, dessert, received many little surprises from the chef as refresher and appetizers and paid for this wonderful experience around 105-120 eurs. For the memory of that beautiful day, we have even a picture with the chef (we were the last ones to leave the restaurant) :-) . Thank you very much, we look forward to coming back, creating such memories in other people’s lives is a beautiful talent!

Interesting and inventive menu. Wonderfully presented and delicious food.

Wonderful food and catered expertly for my gluten free children. They even had their own bread baked for them!

We discovered this place by accident. Fantastic food. Warm atmosphere and friendly service. I love their home made bread. So worth a try. Would visit again next time I’m in town :)

Wonderful meal - every course was delicious. Cooking is creative and delicate. Uses classic French ingredients and techniques to produce modern dishes. Superb sauces. Everything very fresh and seasonal. Small, cozy restaurant; great staff and fun owner. Terrace in the summer. One of my favourite restaurants in/around Bergerac. Reasonable prices for this quality. Interesting and varied wine list.

We visited this lovely restaurant during our holidays in the wonderful Bergerac area. Service is great, and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the kitchen: fresh, very tasty, beautiful presentation and enough vegetables. Chapeau for the team, we will be back when we are in the area!

Our first visit to this unpretentious restaurant where clearly the quality of the food and wine was of importance.
The open kitchen could have been off putting but the small team in there worked quietly and efficiently, making one forget there was actually a kitchen there.
The menu was small, which is something I prefer, and every course was presented and cooked to a high standard. The amuse-bouche and wonderful mushroom soup were pleasant surprises, as was the variety of bread served throughout the meal.
We opted for the 3 course menu, accompanied by a wonderful cocktail and a superb Sancerre.
Service was well paced, not intrusive and we enjoyed a very leisurely couple of hours savouring our meal, the highlight of which was the cheese mousse dessert.
