Wonderful atmosphere in this typical flamish estaminet. Very good products, simple but very high quality. Perfect service and very good beers served here. Nice view from the top of Cassel. They also have a small shop where you can by they typic products in takeaway.

An extraordinary traditional local restaurant offering the cuisine of Flanders. The window looks out over hundreds of square miles of farmland from the top of the only hill in the area. The food is distinctive but rustic. Crockery does not match, wooden furniture is bashed around a bit, and the ingredients are simple. So much better than haute cuisine. Prices are reasonable.

This is mainly about Flanders culture in France.

A hidden gem. Serves local cuisine and drinks that one must try. Reservation is a must.

Excellent - very typical French bistro style restaurant. Young staff, patient, explain everything in English (for tourists!) Beautiful setting with views of the horizon, apparently the owners are young and specifically a Flanders themed menu. All fresh, sensible prices (four of us ate - with drinks - for 93 euros, incredible) and they even have a small shop/delicatessen on your way out!

Incredible food, just sublime. Gorgeous restaurant views on a clear day amazing and.. The French Tree of the Year 2022 is only 50m away. I will return here soon.

A delicious, rustic, regional menu with a museum of curiosities style decor and charm.
Fabulous hilltop views across Flanders fields, complimented by very polite, attentive service.
A superb selection of local beers and Genievre add to the 'authentic feasting' - an opportunity to drink and eat well - and be treated to a warm friendly atmosphere !!!
Have been there several times and look forward to eating there again - soon !!!

Super little resturant. The food is good northern food, without any b.s.

Apple, beer, cheese and porc are offent part of the dishes.

For the dessert speculoos is the favorite.

The resturant also have a little shop where one can buy local produce.

The views over the landscape is very nice.

If you look for a Flanders typical food and a spectacular view, then, you're in the right place !
The rhubarbe ice cream is perfect.
A delicious homemade apple pie.
