Amazing 13th-Century castle surrounded by the lake. There are fun water activities to do in the summer.

We stayed at the Chateau and the accomodation is absolutely beautiful. They provided a stocked fridge for breakfast. We did go to the Spar about a half an hour away to stock up on other essentials. Highly recommend

Well worth the visit. Very sympathetically renovated. Plenty to do if you are interested in water sports. Also a really nice beach. And pic nic area. Good people watching spot.

Great stop for the family. The setting is gorgeous. The lake.. the castle as a backdrop… it’s beautiful. The castle can be visited, which I actually recommend because there are some beautiful interiors to see. It’s well kept and interesting. Plus there are nice views into the lake. Next to the beach you’ll find a beach where kids can safely swim. There are also some water activities (bouncy structures to play for kids), canoeing etc. It’s a bit pricey but not outrageously so. The kids will have a blast. Parking can be a bit gnarly if you arrive late. We got there around 11:30am on an august morning and it was fine… by the time we left around 2pm, people had to park way up the road… so plan on arriving before lunch time.

What a marvellous place visit. For us in a motorhome it was good as they have a dedicated camping-car parking area. The cost €4.

The village was open even on a Sunday with bars and shops flourishing. So many beautiful old buildings. So glad we decided to visit this Beaux Village.

Such a powerful looking building perched on the side of a lake. The French certainly know how to build impressive castles. There is a museum here too although I didn't visit it, wrong time as it was being renovated. A visit well worth making none the less.

Found this interesting castle on the way of our journey. Surprised to see there are many nice details in it. The art of the wood carving and architecture of the castle roof are very impressively beautiful.

A stunning small château in a beautiful position. Very reasonable admission price of €6.50pp. Not very big but particularly liked the fact that you are free to roam at will (printed guide supplied, in various languages).
Each floor renovated in slightly different ways - and no ropes, barriers, or 'do not touch' signs. I hope people respect this so that it doesn't change. Loved it and will return... They also have a 'gite' in part of the château - what a marvellous place to spend a few days - particularly out of main tourist season. Beaches, a cafe/restaurant and boat trips complete the picture - a great day out for everyone.
