Murol Castle

Already commented on Murol château request by Google maps.
But this is stupendous, well worth a visit even without "Animations ".

Unique castle with lots to bring history to life..incredible views, very exposed on a hot day, steep hill to climb to the entrance, wouldn't take a buggy as not very accessible. Toilets are porta loos and no refreshments apart from a medieval drink vending machine. Take water. Def worth seeing 2 hrs approx long enough for visit.

The drive to get to this castle is equal to the chateau itself. A must visit. views: stunning. History: Inspiring

Castle worth seeing (kids under 10 free adylts €9) but make sure you go on the day there is a show. Great show (45minutes) in French with horses and knights.

Your kids are going to love the show with the horses. A local informed me about this place and I do not regret. Entrance fee is average for the region except you have the spectacle as bonus.

Beautiful well renovated Chateau. The guided tour in French- not sure if they offer one in English- was fun and instructive. Very knowledgeable guide. Would definitely recommend it.

Pretty place to visit in that beautiful village!

Great for small children admission is approx 10 EUR for adults and children are surprisingly free. This site includes multiple shows and has restored the interiors of this very well renovated castle. Must see in the region.

Very nice tour.

A Nice looking medieval Castle, you can walk through a large part of it despite it not being with completely intact. While largely in ruins reparations and semi-historical decorated looking rooms offer a look in the past. The old armoury offers a look at what weapons where user throughout the ages. English folders are available as wel as Dutch. The entry is paid but not expensive. The enterance is steep but parking is near.

Lovely very steep walk not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.only small but we'll worth a visit and the jousting was fun.very good value for money.lots of stairs and rough ground not for invalids or very elderly

Nice little castle. Takes just over an hour to explore. Kid friendly with nice picnic spots in the area too.
