The dish of the day is an insanely good option to try here! We've got a delicious homemade patè in a bread shell, salad with yoghurt dressing, a big natural beef steak in wonderful pepper-cream sauce, plentiful of pommes frites, freshly baked waffle with whipped cream, strong and fragrant espresso and a small cookie as a compliment for just 11,60€! And the waiter was very friendly and cooperative 👍 I don't know how the guys manage to do that, but it's a pure magic. 10/10 recommended

If you are thinking of eating somewhere else in Strasbourg, I'll save you the time. Don't! Hands down the best food, even if the price was double. The food was cheaper than what we'd pay in the States! A cheeseburger with fries for 8 Euros? Yes, please! And, the food was fantastic! The burgers are wonderful, salads are fantastic, and the deserts are to die for. I don't know the name of our server (who has served us 4 nights in a row), but I'll include a pic of him. He will treat you well, as will the rest of their staff.

One of my favorite places to eat in Strasbourg! It is delicious but cheap and the staff is extremely nice and friendly! There are tables outside, inside (and TV screens) and I think there is another floor below!
The food is great, there are vegetarian options and the portions are very generous!

Good food at good prices! We had the steak and burger, which came with generous portions. The steak’s doneness varied from medium rare to medium well, but I think that can be overlooked given the price. The wine was also quite nice, and the servers were friendly.

Good beer, good food, great bar and great waitress! Every time we visited Strasbourg, we went to this bar! 👍🏻🍻🤛🏻

I visited this place many times for events organised there. The atmosphere is very good, food and drinks as well. Nice place to have a date or even go with friends or during a lunch break.
The area in the basement is amazing, having a “medieval” style in my opinion. Very interesting place.
Prices are moderated and you get what you pay for.
Friendly staff.

This place is great for drinks, we enjoyed the cherry flavor beer and the price is reasonable. The staff are friendly, helpful and spoke English...:)

I highly recommend this place! It's a nice place to go to have dinner and it has a really nice atmosphere :) the staff was amazing and they treated us really well even though the waiting time between ordering and receiving the food was a bit long. The food was the best part! It tasted amazing (especially the dessert)!!!! The prices weren't too low but it was definitely worth it! If I'll ever go back to Strasbourg I'll be sure to go eat there again!

attentive service, good food that is reasonably priced. they did not ask how i wanted my steak and it was a mixture of medium well and medium rare, but other than that, good

Come for the cheap food and beer, stay for the superb faux brick wallpaper!!! Love the authentic brick texture on the red and the smooth mock-caulk around the brick! So lifelike!

I went to this restaurant on the night of the music festival. The streets were busy. The music was awesome. To top off an already awesome evening my party of 4 ordered 4 burgers. Each different. One chicken. 3 different beef ones.

Best burgers in all of Europe. Juicy. Melt in your mouth. I couldn’t critique it. I was so full. But I wanted more. It was so delicious.

My friend that got the chicken burger said this.
“I still think about that chicken burger”
She’s been talking about it non stop.

Highly recommend. I’d write this review on TripAdviser however I cannot find this particulor restaurant. There is one with a similar name however the address seems different.

Food is priced very affordably, they have a great beer selection and happy hour drinks in the late afternoon.

Sometimes life takes u to desperate situstions where u don't find a place to feel free, a warm corner to lay the rest of the afternoon while outside there is nothing else than the fear of winter. There it is, in that kind of moment when suddenly as if it was art of magic, you end up in a place close to the end of the world, everytime more close to make your dreams come true. Then you find it and there is no time, there is nothing else than hope, some warm chips and love to share with your friends.

Very good spot to stop for a burger, fries, and a European style milkshake.

Nice place to have some drinks with friends (you can also eat). Downstairs there are pool tables and you can dance salsa in a space dedicated to it.

I love the faux brick wallpaper. Very impressed by the brick texture on the actual brick portion and then the smoother texture for the lines around the bricks. Totally recommend! 👍🏻

Great place to stop and grab a drink mid day. Service was accommodating to English only speaking travelers. Decent beer selection.
