Store crammed, with newer books in the front and older / second-hand books at the rear, with plenty to choose from (and multi-buy deals), and many not seen in years. Owner very enthusiastic.

Wonderful English bookshop where you want to buy all the books. They are ordered by genre, but you also have piles with recommendations, which I love. The owner is very nice and just lets you browse as long as you like without bothering you, but it available for questions. Wish I lived near a shop like this! Don’t miss it when you visit the town or castle.

What a quaint and cozy bookstore! It’s such a nice welcome to have an English bookstore in Fontainebleau! It’s warm and welcoming and all you could want from a bookstore. It’s charming and the window displays are always seasonal and fun to see. The owner is kind, welcoming and friendly. There is a great selection of books for all ages.

The owner is bubbly and kind and the books are wonderful. found some great kids book for visiting friends who wanted to take home a French souvenir (that they could read)
