MA.SU Fontainebleau

Good service and welcome.
The dish was ok 👌🏻 i just didn't know the salmon wasn't cooked at all. It was raw and i didn't enjoyed at all with the raw meat or raw fish. But it's ok if someone who like it.

WHAT A TREAT.

My husband and I were in town and I saw this pretty restaurant when we were walking around looking for coffee.

This restaurant fills up quick so it’s best to make a reservation in person to secure a table.

The staff were friendly and bilingual and the service was quick. The restaurant is beautifully decorated on the inside with Japanese alcohol and ceramics. We were served miso soup at the beginning of our meal, compliments of the resto. Word of advice, don’t order the miso because you’ll get it for free anyways.

We ordered the foie gras udon, foie gras sushi, salmon tartare and chirashi bowl. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! In hindsight though, I would not order two foie gras dishes because it ended up being too heavy of a meal and the udon ended up being a takeaway. If you’re craving for fresh sushi, MASU is a must go to in Font.

We had an amazing meal at MaSu. The food was excellent (see attached photo), the outdoor seating was lovely and comfortable, the sake was delicious and smooth, and the service was outstanding. Effie is easily the best server in all of Fontainebleau. I'll definitely be back!

Fantastic quality food. A but pricy but you get what you pay for. Worth a visit when you are in Fontainebleau!

This is a super cozy place with a wonderful team and extremely tasty and fresh food. The owner and chefs truly know what they do. Must visit when in Fontainebleau.

The best Japanese restaurant in Fontainebleau, highly recommended

I am really glad that I’ve chosen this restaurant. The place is tiny but beautiful, the service is good, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the chirashi. Fresh thick fish pieces, shizu leaves, good rice. The sushi was also great. We had takoyaki and chicken karaage as starters, all very good. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay.

Unique place in the area. Great atmosphere, very calm. Good food with the possibility to make dishes vegetarian, would recommend!

It is so unexpected to find some great Japanese food in a small French city. Simple but perfectly cooked, prices are ok.The place is also very cozy. The service is good, and the young owner seems to carry a lot to make every customer satisfied. Perfect place for a lunch after visiting the castle of Fontainebleau located just across the street.

Really good food at affordable prices. Portions were large and they even gave free miso soup and water with my meal.

I have been to Masu many times while living in Fontainebleau and I can say it is the best Japanese restaurant in town (and one of the best restaurants of Fontainebleau overall). Amazing food with fresh ingredients, great service, and even the decor and the music are very nice. I highly recommend it!

The food, and service, was truly incredible! The sushi perfectly combined the French and Japanese cuisines, and it resulted in a fantastic and unique dinner!
