Great place to be.
Very cozy, little restaurant with great food.
We had the beef tataki, supreme-chicken and the "basil island" for dessert.
The chicken was crusty outside, tender and soft inside as it should be.
Nice choice of red-wines.
Friendly staff.
Highly recommended!

My partner and I came across this lovely little place last night after travelling over from Ireland so our tired selves wanted some yummy food and we were squeezed in with no reservation and had the loveliest of meals.
The wine list was incredible and we chose a beautiful White Reisling.
Compliments to the chef- The flavours and portions of the food was lovely and just perfect- we had the Aubergine and Veal starters and both had the steak mains. (The Crying Tiger)
The people and the atmosphere in there was so nice, took notice of lots of little gestures they all did to keep the place welcoming and comfortable and it was lovley, it's paying attention to detail.
Loved the crockery, the decor.
Highly reccomended.

We got a bottle of wine to start and it was divine, followed ravioli for starter, and beef and scallops for main dishes – everything was absolute perfection 😍

Absolutely exquisite food, fabulous wine list and A+++ service from a host who is clearly passionate about great food and service. Tried the pastilla d'agneau from the new menu and highly recommend! Delicious and a more than adequate serving size.
The ambience is lovely, there is a warmth to the space that makes you feel so welcome and comfortable.
Finally, the prices are very fair for the quality of the food and the serving sizes. Definitely recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors alike.

Authentic french cuisine, high fresh standards, excellent open wine selection (drank an outstanding Burgundy, difficult to find these days), very friendly service, also in English if needed.

We have eaten here a few times, at lunch and for a birthday meal. Each occasion is excellent. I would even suggest that it's an improvement on the previous ownership, which was already good. The choice is not huge, which always suggests freshness and attention to detail. The service is attentive without being over the top. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Fontainebleau and wanting to avoid the usual rip off tourist places along the pedestrianised areas.

Really enjoy going to this friendly, cosy restaurant in the heart of Fontainebleau for delicious cheese and meat platters as well as bigger dishes made with fresh ingredients. All accompanied by a large wine list and advice from the restaurant's owner, a former sommelier from a big Parisian restaurant.
They speak English ad you can hire out the whole place for a minimum spend.
Highly recommended!
