We had a fantastic time at this traditional restaurant. We booked our table several weeks in advance as we were a group of 17 including 3 kids. ( The place was almost full about 15min after our arrival at 7pm!)
We were welcomed with open arms, everyone was so friendly and especially caring for our smallest 1yo member. We were seated in a separate private room which was fantastic. We were able to close the door and so it almost felt like having a very delicious meal at our own home.
Our assigned waiter was funny and well on top of his game.

Toilets were very clean and there was even a separate room to change diapers.

Another cool thing: the table cloth was actually made out of paper and served as perfect canvases for the drawings of the little ones while waiting on the food.

One of the oldest restaurant in strasbourg serving its finest alsace traditional food. Food is very delicious, well served. The food servers is really fast, polite and very friendly. Highly recommended

My husband and I had a wonderful meal here while visiting Strasbourg. I tried Flammekueche for the first time and absolutely loved it. The spätzle was great too and the pork it was served with was so tender and flavourful. As a bonus, our server was terrific too - friendly and attentive without stifling us. Highly recommended!

As asian Indonesian person, I really like the food. I love the staff.
They can speaking english fluently.
They also serve us politely and patiently because we had dinner with kiddos.

The pork leg was super delicious, and the portion really huge. I shared to my sister.

We dined inside because it was raining when we arrived and the terrace was closed.
The food and service were very good.
The room was a bit hot but opening the windows definitely helped.

We visited that winstub in Strasbourg in New Year's Eve, and everything was perfect! Delicious food, good service and charming environment. 100% recommended.

I totally recomend going to this place! The "Flammkuchen " is delicious, the personal are very friendly and the place is very beautiful! My dessert was a chocolate cake with ice cream and it was brought to me by the Chef himself. Ah! And the restaurant is there since 1400! The only point to have in mind is: make a reservation.

A very old building that provide traditional Alsace cruising. Very tasteful with good ingredients. The waiters and waitress are very friendly with good service.

We had our Christmas dinner there. Service was very professional, restaurant atmosphere is great, lots of options in the menu. Also they have a good understand of what a gluten free options can be served. During xmas times, better make your reservation, otherwise you will have a hard time to find a place to eat.

Amazing food...escargot is the best....really good value for the money and can't beat the views outside on the patio. Very clean bathrooms.

Friendly staff and great food! We had tomato mozzarella salad, fleischkiechle, fish on sauerkraut, flammkuchen, onion pie and chocolate moelleux, excellent!

We spent a great evening with a group of 35 people and the restaurant was so accommodating.
Service was excellent and we enjoyed a traditional meal.

We were there a few days ago and had an extremely positive experience. We do not speak any French, but one of the waitresses took a lot of time to describe the dishes to us in English. She also came by a lot and explained how to eat snails and how the dish I had was connected to French culture / cooking - and on top of this, the food was phenomenal.
We enjoyed our stay quite a lot and will definitely come by again when visiting Strasbourg next time.

Very nice place, a bit on the more expensive side, with really good and attentive staff and a great menu and selection of beers and wines. The waedele and desserts are especially noteworthy.

His personality, temperament, a football fan which trying to speak a different languages of the world.
Good food, very well served with supplements, but for this man from the restaurant stuff who telling various colourful stories of the world and for his sense of humour, when we will be pass through Strasbourg, we will go back to this restaurant. Chapeau - bas, Monsieur ! ;-)

We have been organizing group christmas market trips for many years in different cities but this was just the best restaurant ever now, with a very friendly and humorous-entertaining service personal, good reservation service, great food, unique wonderful ambiente, organizational flexibility and fair prices.
We didn't felt like one of many groups in christmas-market rush-time. Our group was welcome as individual guests and with patience.
