The place is so typical. If you’re looking for a great meat place this is where you need to go. They are very king and the service is awesome: the food taste well. You’ll be able to choose the type of meat you want depending on what they have. The burger is so tasty. We had a great time. The Camembert roti is very delicious . I highly recommend to go there.

Excellent - for anyone who enjoys good food (especially quality red meat of course but everything else was tasty too) served in a relaxed, no fuss environment with pleasant service.

Nice place on the square near the church. Service was friendly and good. I sat and enjoyed a rose then had lunch. This place seems to need a butcher (at least there sell meat) as well as a restaurant. I chose the hanger steak with aligot and roquefort sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly. The aligot nice and cheesy. The red wine was also excellent.

My husband and I moved to Fontainebleau a month ago and discovered this restaurant and butcher shop a few weeks in. The owners and staff are lovely and knowledgeable - making us feel welcome and settled, like a home away from home.

This place is a great way to get direct access to great meats, and you won't leave with anu room in your stomach. They have all day service on fridays and saturdays (april 2024)

Friendly, warm and welcoming. Onion soup was outstanding and the beer and wine recommendations were spot on!

Situated on the corner of a market square in the wonderful old town of Fontainebleau, this restaurant specialises in meat dishes using seasonal ingredients.

My daughter and I received wonderful advice on what to choose from the available cuts, and accompanying vegetables and sauces. We were seated outside, and enjoyed being situated close to the square in order to feel the ambience. When a small rain shower arrived, we were immediately welcomed to a new table under cover.

When people take such time and care with preparation, and provide such attentive service, you know the food will be good, and it did not disappoint. Our meat was perfectly cooked, our vegetable dishes delightful, and the sauces were beautifully prepared and tasty!

What a find! Really interesting menu with wide selection of meat options, we had the lunch set menu of the day which was very reasonably priced and delicious. Good ingredients from all over the world, chatting to the manager it was clear how much thought and care went into sourcing the produce. I don't expect to be able to speak English when ordering food in France, however the waiter and manager spoke English and took a lot of time to help us understand the menu and feel welcome. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere, super team and delicious food. To top it off, they have premium cappuccinos. I highly recommend.

Since they have moved locations the whole concept has changed and it’s great! They have a great bar with charcuterie options and even have a full menu for lunch and dinner. What’s ever better is they serve all day on the weekends. That’s such a rare find for Fontainebleau! They still have meat for purchase inside and a good wine selection as well! Very nice patio to enjoy your meal outside or even for a drink!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Absolutely loved the food and owners who were extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They guided us through the entire culinary experience. Truly an amazing place! Not to be missed in Fontainebleau.

Beautiful food and wonderful service. We had the set lunch menu. It was delicious and very thoughtfully put together. This place is such a find. Would definitely recommend.

Super good place, everything was good! Didn’t know what to get but Brice was our waiter and recommended us all the best things! 10/10 would recommend :)
