A brilliant restaurant providing inside and outside dining next to the beach.
The efficiency and professionalism of the friendly staff is first class. English is widely spoken.
The food is delicious and beautifully presented.

Fab espresso! Been on the bike all morning desperate for caffeine. Popped in here for some rocket fuel. The place was buzzing, really good atmosphere. We had 2 espressos and chilled for a while. Great beach views. The food looked amazing. We'll be back next year!

Great restaurant, pretty big too - exceptional seating directly near the beach. Prices are adequate for what you're getting, service is good and respectful.

We arrived a little late for lunch 2.30pm
But we where seated and offered a reduced menu, but still food!!
We had a club sandwich and it was great!!

Great place! The food was good and fairly priced. Surprising for a beach front location. Staff was friendly and immediately found a balcony seat for us. Would definitely return.

Top! Burger was very good!! Parking around the area is extremely difficult so plan ahead! View makes it worth it. Staff was nice and attentive!

We (table of 4) cheekily arrived at the restaurant 1/2 hour ahead of our booking, on a very busy August, hoping to eat!
With no fuss they accommodated us at a lovely table on the seafront. Staff all very friendly and helpful, lovely food, good service. Just perfect, thank you Chez Bob.

Chez Bob was a very good experience from a valued word-of-mouth recommendation. The location is beautiful, in a stunning town/area. We visited on our short stay while in the neighbouring Saintes region...[ All the surrounding towns of Royan are little beauties by the way! ]

So we were seated outside on a very warm eve at the beginning of June. The plentiful umbrella'd seating was busy and it was only Wednesday. The service folk were very accommodating to our broken minimal French and took time to make us feel very welcome. I had a brief chat to the manager(possibly owner) [who I thought was Bob himself :)] and turns out the place has a great history dating back to the mid 1950s/60s. The food was tasty and prices reasonable... Would love to go back.

Wonderful restaurant in a beautiful bay. Only had one meal so far but will definitely be back. The veg burger was amazing, served with home made fries and salad. It was the best veggie burger I have had. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
