Logis Hôtel Emeraude

Just passed through Confolens with a friend on a cycling trip. Were in need of some help when arriving on our bikes later than planned as the room we had booked let us down leaving us without a room late at night. The owners of this hotel went way above and beyond to help us out, even though they were full they called multiple other hotels and worked through different options for us. Eventually they were able to find a room in a nearby hotel. Can highly recommend Confolens, small town, very pretty and a nice vibe. If you do go, make sure you stop off and see these lovely people.

Lunch on the terrace was superb. A great view, good food and service. Not over-expensive. Recommended.

A great place to eat out and drink.

Stopped off on our way through Confolens at the Hotel Emeraude. We've been there before and have never been disappointed. The staff are efficient and polite. If your French is not up to much they will speak English. The food was, as ever, excellent. We were there in the evening but during the day lunch is served on a terrace overlooking the River Vienne.

The Emeraude has improved greatly in recent years, and is a really pleasant place for a meal or just a coffee

Je suis restée 5 nuits, j'ai très bien dormi literie parfaite, chambre bien aménagée, il n'y a pas de bruit la nuit.
Possibilité de prendre le petit-déjeuner, service du midi et du soir.
Je vous conseille le dos de cabillaud, servi avec des courgettes et spaghetti.

Notre chambre et la salle de bains étaient propres, agréables, concernant le restaurant, j' ai fait de superbes découvertes en prenant une salade aux saveurs inédites. Ah oui, certains avis disent que le patron et les employés ne sont pas trop sympa, honnêtement je les ai trouvé sympathiques et à l' écoute des besoins de leur clientèle.

Repas de midi pour le Festival de Confolens. Un moment gourmand et très agréable. Cuisine fait maison. Je recommande ce restaurant.

Un plus les toilettes sont d'une propreté que beaucoup de restaurants devraient s'en inspirer.
Nous reviendrons.
