La Pause

Very enjoyable experience. Particularly enjoyed the coffee dessert which came with a selection of mini desserts from the menu. All were exceptional. Coffee very good too. Preceded by Moules Traditionellles which were very good, and very generous. I would have preferred half the amount as a starter, and I would probably then have also taken a main meal off the menu. All washed down with a pretty good Muscadet.

We've eaten here twice and its been brilliant both times.
Mussels were delish as was the carbonara and the goats cheese salad.
The "La Pause double burger" was a hefty challenge as its two thick steak haché patties, but it was tasty.
The staff are friendly and attentive and the whole restaurant is family friendly and accommodating to kids. Kids get a small toy with their dessert (menu enfant). Plus, they can get the food out very fast if you require that (kids can be difficult to entertain when they are tired).
Try the orange sorbet, it was brill.

Lovely restaurant right beside the beach. The welcome from the staff was really nice and they spoke great English too which was helpful.

Food was perfect, the chorizo mussels is amazing and the burger too .

We visited La Pause, on the Benodet Seafront, several times during July 2022, there's a good mix of both European and French dishes to chose from, and were of excellent quality. All the staff were very pleasant, and always made sure we had a copy of the English translated menu.

Service was good but slow. Busy enough so maybe they did their best. Once meal was ordered, the food came out quickly. Food was really good. Family of 5, had 4 pizza and kids meal. View was amazing. We sat by window ans could see Benodet harbour as the sun was setting.

I can’t fault La Pause. Immense seafood. Immense cocktails (get the caipirinha 🤤😉😎) The staff were great craic and the choons were (chef’s kiss). Very family friendly.

Very good had a nice meal it was very tasty the waitress was very helpful our French isn't very good and the waitress did her best to help us top marks to the young lady

Excellent accueil ( nous sommes une famille avec deux enfants de 5 ans et 2 ans ) .
Les plats sont copieux et bons , même les nuggets du menu enfant. Un rapport qualité prix plus que correct lorsqu'on est en bord de mer , je recommande vraiment cet établissement. Bonne continuation à vous 👏👏👏

Très bonne adresse à réserver pour les gourmands tant les assiettes sont généreuses.
Nous avons testé une planche mixte a l'apéro, une excellente surprise charcuterie et fromage au top. Les moules et l'entrecôte sont parfaites, si je dois noter une suggestion pour encore améliorer la prestation des frites maison serait un vrai plus.
Le service est rapide et de qualité avec du personnel efficace et à l'écoute.
Je recommande cette adresse pour partager un bon moment en famille ou entre amis.

Réservation 1h avant, arrivée sur place accueilli royalement. Les 4 enfants se sont régalés avec les moules et nous adultes 3 plats différents avec comme jeu : quel défaut trouve tu a ton assiette ? Moules parfaites (Mention spéciale à la version gorgonzola) poisson du jour ultra tendre et spaghetti parfaites. Simplement BRAVO

Rapport qualité-prix excellent. Les serveurs sont agréables, souriants et soucieux de notre confort. La nourriture est fraîche et très bonne. Un très bon moment entre amis dans ce restaurant.
