Domaine Jean Sipp

Absolutely amazing place! We have been to Jean Sipp vinery many times before, but this decided to stay for 2 nights. They have 2 rooms, we stayed at Clos Ribeaupierre, which is the bigger room. The room has a seating area with massive armchairs, small kitchen and separate bathroom and toilet. The bed is excellent with very warm duck feather blanket. The winery gets very quiet after 18.00, so nothing will disturb your sleep. There is plenty of parking, outdoor seating area, etc. Ladies at the winery are very helpful and nice. We had few questions, which were all resolved very quickly. I wish I could live there permanently or at least few weeks a year...

We have just spent 2 days at Jean Sipp and we would highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Our room was superb and we cannot wait to return. The staff were so accommodating and friendly.

Wishing I were back. Enjoying a bottle(s) of wine while celebrating my ten year anniversary was very relaxing. I did not want to leave. I cannot wait to be back.

We just stopped there on the way to Strassburg. We wanted just buy some wine. Servis was very friendly and they offered us to try all what we want to buy. We asked question and we got a good answers and recommendations. We just took a look around but place seems to be very beautiful for walks around.

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic tasting experience at Jean Sipp. The woman who assisted us, Karina, was particularly wonderful. Not only was she incredibly informative, but she was also very thoughtful in making recommendations about which wines to sample. And of course the wines themselves were delicious! Can't recommend highly enough!

Really a great experience. Free wine tasting of wonderful wines, guided by professionals who speak English, German, French. Then, good prices if you want to buy. 100% a recommended experience!

After tasting this Gewurztraminer, I tasted the strong lychee fruity flavor in my mouth. It is what I like very much.

One of the best tasting experiences ever. Hosted by Jean Sipp, we had a cellar tour where we got to taste wines straight from the barrels and tanks. Not something i'd experienced before. A true experience, presented with great passion. How all tastings should be. Thank you Jean!

Very friendly folks there. Wine very tasty. We bought for home. While it is no doubt that people would prefer to speak French (native tongue) but they were able to speak English with us. Highly recommended

Wonderful tasting experience. Sarah was friendly, spoke excellent English and openly talked and poured the Rieslings I wanted to taste. We covered all of their current Lieu-Dits and Grand Cru offerings -- of seven wines, I bought four. Lieu-Dits favorite was the Haguenau. Grand Cru selections were Kirchberg 2013 (fully dry) and 2009 (some residual sugar) with the Altenberg 2012 (some residual sugar) my favorite.

Really good experience, you can taste 10 wines for €8, all the wines tasted great and really good value. You can also buy wine by the glass
