Ondine

This was absolutely the best food experience we had on our vacation this summer. We have travelled through the Black Forest in Germany, to Colmar and Riquewihr in Alsace in France. We have visited five restaurants recommended by the Michelin guide. All of them excellent, an thereof one with two Michelin stars.That one was superb.
But none of those other places was anywhere close to our experience at Ondine. Our tastebuds had quite the fun tonight.

Best meal we had in Strasbourg by a long shot. We loved every bite and wine pairing. We’re from NYC, have been fortunate to have had many tasting menus, and this still blew us away. 10/10 on every dimension!

The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. The food was excellent on its own, but the wine pairing truly brought it all together! 100% recommend and would definitely come again.

They were accommodating of my husband’s fish and nut allergies and he received amazing dishes as well, and his favorite dish was one that was specifically made to accommodate his allergies.

Visiting Strasbourg, we came across this gem by accident. It was an incredible experience with amazing food and wine to complement one another.

Stunning and more than we even hoped for, despite the great reviews. The food was delicious, so tasty with some fabulous sauces. The carrot dish, trout and pigeon were all outstanding but couldn't fault a thing. Service and ambience 100% . Can't wait to see these guys earn a well deserved Michelin star

We had a wonderful evening here as a group of 4, dishes were excellent and atmosphere intimate. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, proving enjoyable wine pairings throughout the evening. Would highly recommend.

It was an excellent experience for the two of us. We found the restaurant by chance just walking by it. It seemed like there was no table for us but they accommodated us without a reservation. The restaurant is very small but charming and comfortable. The chefs made some really thoughtful dishes and explained what was on our plates and in our glasses. Six courses total with 4 wines. It was 3.5 hours of fun and delicious eating. Expensive but worth the cost and time. I hope the restaurant does well and is a big success. Bon chance!

Déjà la deuxième fois dans ce petit restaurant intimiste et toujours un grand plaisir de découvrir de nouveaux plats, servit avec le sourire.

Une cuisine gastronomique de saison, qui nous rappelle les produits locaux diversifiés et frais que l'on peut trouver et consommer en Alsace à différents moments de l'année.

Le cadre et l'équipe, en cuisine comme en salle, sauront vous convaincre de revenir pour découvrir la carte changeante au cours de l'année.

Très belle découverte dans ce lieu intimiste où le service est irréprochable du début à la fin.

Nous avons découvert ces jeunes talents de la gastronomie française. La salle, bien que petite est très harmonieuse et agréable. Ambiance claire enveloppante, fleurs, plante, bougies. Fauteuils très confortables. Le repas en plusieurs temps est délicieux au palais et à l’oeil. Autant les légumes que les viandes et sauces, ou les desserts. Tout est de saison et de la région, mis à part un citron du sud, et quelques épices, on ne s’en plaindra pas. Tout est impeccablement réussi y compris l’accueil, chaleureux et professionnel. Un grand merci à l’équipe pour cette belle expérience.

Un peu lassé des storytelling de bistronomiques vantant les mérites de l’expérience et du voyage des sens…j’arrive (un peu) désabusé.
Et là…bim ! En plein dans le mille. L’équipe (3) est géniale. Sympa. Attentive. Tente, essaye et réussi à envoyer des assiettes créatives, savoureuses et délicieuses qu’accompagnent des vins ou des boissons choisis avec soin et audace. Petite salle petit comptoir (12 couverts) pour un très grand voyage.

Wouah....que dire, une belle surprise de ma femme, on arrive dans un petit restaurant intimiste de 12 couverts seulement, vu sur la cuisine, accueil chaleureux. Et là c'est la claque, un menu unique de plusieurs plats, des saveurs, textures et visuels de haut niveau, accompagnés de vins qui sortent des sentiers balisés, un régale!
Quelle pépite en plein Strasbourg! J'espère y retourner!
