Liked this more than I expected. The entry is reasonable, and they had a couple of art exhibitions as well as the ruined Chateau itself. It's a cool place to explore, ruined but in good enough condition to imagine what it must have been like. There are good information boards. You can go right to the top of the towers too which is fun. Kids would love it with some supervision on the high bits. Probably an hour's worth, maybe 2 if you went slowly. There is also a nice church to visit outside.

Amazing restoration of a very old castle. You can walk around the grounds and climb the towers. Beautiful. It's very quiet here and there was nobody else there but us. There is a self serve entrance where you simply put in your money into a box. Please be sure to pay - they really did a ton of work to get the castle restored and do an amazing job keeping it in great condition.

The "fairytale" story surrounding it is very fitting. Morning felt like the best time to visit.

A gem. Make a point to go here. You will not be disappointed. Full marks to the team of volunteers who made this what it is today.

A gorgeous little gem hidden in rural Normandy.
We came for the happy fair atmosphere but if you're a history buff they have you covered. The danes call happiness "Hygge", the normands should call it "Gratot"

A beautiful and simple 13th to 16th century chateau. Peaceful and reflective.

A stunning Castle set in the beautiful Normandy countryside, well worth the visit. The castle is surrounded by a picturesque moat with its resident ducks and geese and their chicks. It’s a very romantic and photogenic castle steeped in history which hosts many events including sculpture, art and floral,so look out for new events coming in 2022 and beyond 😊👍🏻

It's worth a visit to see how buildings were developed through the centuries , unfortunately, the exhibition was not available in our April visit.
Interesting project for those in a volunteer mode.

Great place to spend a few hours exploring. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of history. Good historical displays and exhibits. Lovely to see the carp and ducks in the moat. Our children loved climbing up the spiral staircases to the top of the towers which gave you a great view.

What a beautiful place. Though we have been coming to Normandy for almost 20 years, we hadn't been here before.
Informative laminated booklet, emaculately kept grounds and inexpensive (4€ adult).
If this place were in England you'd be paying over £10 per adult and extra for parking.

Well, well worth a visit. We will be back.

Very nice castle. We did not do the tour but already the outside looks great. A great exception here is that you can bring your dog.
