Golden Tulip Reims

A 4 star hotel worthy of a classification, everything was perfect: room (junior suite), facilities, service, breakfast, swimming pool & sauna, parking and not forgetting the quiet location and proximity to the city center (10-12 minutes drive). The price-performance ratio is very good. Highly recommended.

The Golden Tulip was a great spot! Super clean, everything felt modern, and my room was surprisingly spacious. Plus, breakfast was amazing - way more choices than I could even handle.

One tiny snag though: the bed. If you're like me and built for comfort, not speed (read: tall), heads up that the bed might be a little short. Seems like that's the norm in France, land of the not-so-gigantic. Anyway, not a dealbreaker, but something to think about if you value legroom while snoozin'.

All in all, I'd totally recommend the Golden Tulip.

Totally enjoyed my stay and the room was good. I like the style and they’ve got enough parking space. Breakfast was good too I must say. However, the bathrooms need to be cleaned properly else it will get messy soon, so this is for the cleaners and those supervising them. The lines in between tiles on the bathroom walls are not properly dealt with.

Not picking I didn’t like seeing the green algae on the left of the shower by the pool.

Fabulous big rooms, big parking, clean, great service. Even though my room was right at the lifts the noice canceling of the walls/door is so good I did not hear anything.
It‘s definitely not too close to the city center but considering the price difference to an hotel of the same quality located more central the driving time is more than worthy.

We stayed here for the night on the way home from the Alps so the location was ideal. Hotel was modern, clean and very comfortable. Sauna opened a little late for us travelling (8am) but overall a good place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel as a stop over on the way back from Switzerland and honestly, i wish we could have stayed here longer than 1 night.

The hotel itself is new, fresh, beautifully designed - the concrete bold structure is complimented with quality finishes inside the rooms and in other areas of the hotel.

Location was perfect, just off the motorway. the hotel itself is located in a purpose build community that includes many corporate offices, a hospital, shops, restaurants and other facilities. as we were there for 1 night we had limited time. the area felt safe to walk around at night.

Our room was stunning! it was quite, clean and perfect after a long drive. I would gladly stay here again and is perfect if heading to the south of frame, champagne country or like us heading into Switzerland.

There are more cheaper places however this was worth every penny!!

In response to your reply, we have booked 3 rooms in april and may 2023 for our return trip to Switzerland!! See you in a few weeks.

Fantastic hotel. Brand new so everything modern. Everything spotlessly clean, friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful despite us arriving at 0230. Lovely air conditioned rooms with huge beds, brilliant showers and the best blackout curtains I've ever encountered. Good, rapidly restocked hot and cold buffet breakfast. Large, secure car park. It's at the edge of a business district so quiet at night, yet only 5-10 mins drive from the centre of Reims. Only tiny caveat is that it doesn't have a restaurant for evening meals, so you need to eat out. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a lovely modern hotel with possibly the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on. Nice bathroom, big bed, handy location just off the autoroute and a good breakfast. However it doesn't have a restaurant. Normally not a problem as there are 3 right opposite. However on a Monday 2 of them were shut whilst the other was fully booked. We did find one about 10 mins walk away but it would have been much easier if the hotel had their own. The hotel is located on a very modern business park which is absolutely soulless. So nice hotel but could do with a restaurant, shame about the surrounds.

Excellent hotel for a night stop-over! Breakfast needs work, rooms can use some better pillows, the rest is superb.
A quick breakdown:
- overall: very new hotel, nicely and smartly decorated, clean rooms, professional staff
- location: perfect for one night if you are traveling. Also great if you want to visit champagne makers. Less suitable if you wish to spend time in Reims city center, it is about 10 minutes drive by car. Located next to Mazars, the global audit, tax and consultancy firm.
- eating: the hotel is in a newly built business area, no own restaurant but they serve great cheese and meat platters (with champagne of choice! There are a few restaurants on the doorstep, mind they are closed on Sunday! Avoid Le Kongming btw.
- facilities: playroom with PlayStation for children of all ages, small playground (see photos), pool and gym. Very nice seating area around the bar for drinks
- organisation and staff: excellent, the reception is also the bar, and the breakfast check-in, they can monitor everything. It can get busy at times
- breakfast: the breakfast room is not suitable for large numbers of guests, guests cannot move around. Food runs out quickly, even though the staff works hard to get everything supplied. It gets a bit messy.
- parking: free and large, also for electric cars
- bar: offering good choice of champagnes
- rooms: modern and well equipped, clean, with small fridge. The beds are not that great, with a big minus for the pillows (only thick ones). We did not sleep too well

We enjoyed our stay here last week. Front desk staff were extremely accommodating and helpful.
Our room was very well decorated and the bed was very comfortable.

Loved it, room spacious with fridge and coffee maker, air-conditioning brilliant, bed very comfortable. Bar area with nice ambience. Will be staying here again.

Great convenient hotel close to motorways..stunning interior design with all the home comforts, especially the best nights sleep on a very comfortable bed.
