Little Language School - Saint-Junien

I brought a group of A Level French students to Saint Junien for a residential trip and the whole experience was fantastic thanks to Louisa. Her communication is excellent and given her knowledge of the area, she was able to give so much support in booking meals, museum visits and so much more. Her lessons at the Little Language School were wonderfully engaging and the students learnt so much. If you are looking to run an A Level trip to France, Louisa will help you plan the perfect trip - very highly recommended!

I have been having french lessons with Louisa online for a few months now and I can honestly say I absolutely love it!

Louisa is kind and empathetic and teaches at our pace. She always ensures that she is teaching the things that we need and tailors the lessons to suit us.

She goes at your pace within your group. The groups are nice and small, no more that 6-8 people. We have 6 in our group and we both genuinely enjoy going each week to learn. Learning starts with beginners ( us) to those who are advanced in their new language.

We also feel the cost of a 6 week course is very well priced and well worth it. We will keep going.

I arrived in France to live 3 years ago and not at all confident to speak French. I was nervous to go shopping and other places, afraid somebody would start talking to me. I was delighted to find "little language school" in St.Junien. Louisa is a great teacher who makes learning French fun. She mainly concentrates on verbal interaction with great and easy tips for a basic start. Her website gives a clear overview of the lessons and links to plenty of other websites to learn French in different fun ways. Because of Louisa I enjoy studying again even as a mature student.

My wife and I made the permanent move to France last year. Being a part of the community is very important to us and learning some French would really help us with that. Joining Louisa’s classes as total beginners has been great. Both Helen and I really look forward to our weekly lesson. Louisa’s lessons are engaging, fun and useful. Online resources are also provided so that the learning can continue at home. Everything that we’ve learnt has been a massive help in our day to day life here in France. Louisa makes learning French a pleasure. I find any new learning difficult having dyslexia but how she puts things across visually helps.
She is very patient and see we all learn at a different pace. We have a 1h lesson each week and the time goes so quickly.
The classroom is well setup and the lessons are of a small number of people so you feel you can ask questions and get an answer. Louisa controls the class very well and soon brings the class back to what we are all there for when it goes on a tangent.

GREAT PLACE TO LEARN FRENCH

I joined the beginners group with Louisa and after the first lesson found myself more confident using French! Louisa is lovely and makes you feel at ease right away. The lessons are well organised, fun and engaging. I would highly recommend Louisa for anyone who is just starting to use French or someone who has tried and found themselves thinking 'I'm never going to be able to speak French'!

Having been learning French since arriving here 6 years ago, Louisa is the first proper French teacher I have been to, and what a difference! She knows how to teach and although I dont go to the class with thoughts of ever mastering French, I always leave with plenty of enthusiasm and confidence, new words, phrases and an understanding of what I thought was impossible. Highly recommended teacher.

Louisa has such a fantastic way of teaching, she's really made french click with me! I'm actually having the confidence to speak now in French. I've had a few different teachers but Louisa is definitely the best! She always praises you when you try even if you get it wrong, she finds a positive in what you've said. Louisa's French language class is something to look forward to. Her lessons are well structured and extremely helpful and, moreover, are very relaxed and enjoyable. The class size is kept small, allowing for greater involvement and there are online teaching aids to back up the lessons.

I have been taking lessons with Louisa since October 2022, and thanks to her meticulous planning and attentive and considerate teaching style, I feel that I have made significant progress as a result. Prior to taking the lessons I had been trying to learn French by myself for 2 years, but it is with her help that I feel that I have made noticeable progress in engaging with the language. I would highly recommend the little language school saint - junien to anyone wanting to learn French . I have been learning for 5 months with them and have found the lessons to be easy to follow week on week . Each lesson building on the previous one giving confidence and an understanding of the language. The teacher Louisa makes every lesson engaging and fun.

I love going to my French lessons. Louisa is an inspirational teacher - I have learnt more in 9 weeks than a whole year in school. I am gaining confidence to speak and understanding the structure of the language which is good for me. Small classes, very reasonable rates and fun to boot! I cannot recommend Louisa enough - try it out for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
