Columbus Café & Co

Great service, great food and a nice music.
In less than 5 minutes the order was taken, the food was prepared and we were already eating!
When I came back for my coffee, had a nice chat with the barista.
Open-minded staff, receptive to feedbacks, very polite and friendly!

Enjoyed our breakfast so much, we had to come back the next day! Tried a panini and a bagel- both delicious. They have large coffees that are actually large! (Americans who are bewildered by how tiny French coffees are will be relieved.) Plenty of outdoor seating in a lovely pedestrian area.

The clerks were so nice and passionate!

This is for Columbus in St Malo - although the Columbus in Rennes is good too.
Love the coffee here- there’s more variety than you usually get in France- more American style than French. The sandwiches and muffins are really good and the prices are correct. The personnel are always pleasant and welcoming, so it’s my “go to” place for an everyday affordable treat.

Amazing café, such a huge variety of desserts, snacks and coffee! I'm safe to say it is much better than Starbucks!
Prices are not high, staff are absolutely lovely, the atmosphere is welcoming...what more can you ask for?

Very good place with nice service and cool staff

Not a very common type of Café in Rennes. The music and atmosphere is generally great and the service is speedy and friendly. Love the cakes and coffee options.

Fresh mix smoothies is amazing

The ONLY place in rennes where you can get a massive coffee to go that tastes like gold! I go there for my regular pint of latte and it just picks me up no end!
Another thing : The people who work there are ACE! By that I mean in what they do and also the fact they are generally awesome guys!

It is one of the amazing times where you are wondering which is better... The taste of the hot chocolate or the sweetness of the hosts... Highly recommended ... Great service :)

If you want American style coffee shop, this is the closest you’ll find in Rennes. Variety of styles of coffees, good selection of big to eat like bagels, sandwiches and sweets like donuts
