Picorette

If you are in Granville, you should go this place! We stayed in Granville for 6 days and we visited Pirocrette 2 times. A various range of sophisticated teas, very nice cakes and tarts. (Pavlova aux fraises, lemon tart , and scones were super super delicious. Another dat we had lunch here, as thier loves sweets, the lunch was also great. Not only the food very friendly owner and the staffs. I DO RECOMMAND PICORETTE! WE LOVED IT SO MUCH!

Excellent!! The cafe and the atmosphere are very cozy. You can see the chef cooking in the kitchen. The staff is also exceptional. I cannot understand any french but they patiently explain everything and recommend a pairing tea with dessert. I have to say the chocolate lava is a must! 😃

Amazing local bakery + tea-house where everything they serve is homemade. They make all of their food/deserts from scratch, individually, for each order. They also have a HUGE tea selection!

The only slight draw-backs are that they do not have an English menu, but their waitresses are very sweet and will help translate the menu for you and give you recommendations. Honestly, the deserts are to die for. You probably couldn’t go wrong even if you just randomly picked anything off the menu.

Fantastic lunch sitting outside. Freshly made, delicious food, good wine and excellent service. Very friendly helpful staff. They also have an excellent selection of tea and jams. I strongly recommend a visit if you are in Granville!

Outstanding value and service. The salmon meal was one of the best I have ever enjoyed at any restaurant. The Picorette offers a small menu usually with two or three quiches (one is vegetarian) and one hot meat or fish meal. The menu changes each day and the chef can be relied upon to produce top quality food with excellent sauces. The owner is usually present and his personal contribution to the customer service is another major plus for this restaurant. Originally tea rooms there are hundreds of different teas, scones to take away and a selection of artisan jams. Lunch service is recommended but if there is no time for that afternoon tea is a real treat! No visit to Granville is complete without a visit to the Picorette!

Astounding tea selection and incredible cuisine. The service is unmatched in their attention and kindness. I recommend Picorette to anyone visiting, and make it a point to stop in whenever I am in Granville.

WOW WOW WOW! Such a wonderful secret spot. If you want a wonderful lunch, with wonderful drink options (so much lovely tea!) this is the place for you. If you love a place that takes care in aesthetics and atmosphere, this is the place for you! The owner is a delight to talk to, and a kind person. Highly recommend to anyone!!!

I have said it many, many times but it's worth saying it again (and again) that this restaurant has the very best croque Monsieur in the whole of France! The welcome, the strange free samples of tea are excellent too! Go and try it soon before I have to eat all that croque Monsieur...!
