Café Chez Nous

Our favourite bar in Dijon. Friendly and eccentric crowd, not pretentious like other bars we went to. Huge thanks to the young guy working Friday and Saturday - he was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially since my French is horrible. He also told me it’s the oldest bar in Dijon which we didn’t know.

Really homey café with inexpensive comfort food. The vegetarian entrée and dish is only 7€ total! Be sure to book in advance, as the place is often packed (especially on weekends). You may have to do this in-person since their phone number doesn't work. I believe this is really only a lunch place too, though sometimes they have dinner. Would highly recommend!

Cheap drinks, house wine is great value and the staff and customers make the place. If you can’t speak French someone might speak your language and start a conversation. Go for the atmosphere, good coffee and it is a hole in the wall that is worth finding. Don’t be intimidated by the posters and graffiti on the walls down the alley.

I have lived in Dijon for 10 years now and there is no place like the Chez Nous. Eclectic energy of artist, locals, tourists, and friends. I'm going to be honest, I stopped going for a while. The vibez were low, the place was dirty and the atmosphere was just not the same. However, after the pandemic, I wanted to reconnect and started going again. Wow!! Is my new reaction, what a pleasant change. I even bring my clients in after meetings for the returned authentic Dijonnaise vibesz, drinks & food. Market days are fun! Super dog friendly and the dogs love the Chef!!

If you do not go there you cannot understand what Chez Nous is about. A place where nobody can feel a stranger or lonly. Such a well chosen name. Please join all the interesting people in town at Chez Nous.

A nice down to earth no thrills bar/cafe with friendly staff, good beer and snacks . If you want to drink where the locals drink this is the place for you

Ich bewerte mal das tolle Ambiente und den Service, weil wir hier nicht gegessen haben. Das Publikum ist interessant. Wir haben den schöneren Zugang (von Hinten) gewählt....

Lieu Extra. La nouvelle cuisinière réussie l’exploit de faire encore mieux que l’ancien cuistot (arrivé premier à son concours de cuisine.)
Un assaisonnement et un assemblage de saveurs très bien orchestré...
Légumes de saison et du marché, imbattable à ce prix là !!!

Je recommande cet endroit qui sort tout droit des années 1970 pour la décoration, l'ambiance est vraiment sympa, nous pouvons partager des discussions avec les voisins de table. Le nourriture vient directement du marché à côté avec des produits frais qui sont élaborés dans l'établissement juste à côté du bar.

Une ambiance unique, une cuisine excellente et une équipe géniale

Tombés par hasard sur ce bar caché au fond d'une allée. Nous nous sommes régalés avec un plat copieux et une bonne bière. Le lieu fait vraiment "à la bonne franquette" avec une ambiance agréable et les prix sont très abordables.
