Café Bretelles - Petite France

Loved the first Café Bretelles. Years later we came to Strasbourg again, so the second one was a pleasant surprise. It’s right next to the Petite France, so we started our tour here with a small brunch. Coffee was expectedly fantastic and so was our brunch (sadly eggs Benedict are served only on weekends). I like the building. It’s small, but there are more floors and even a garden in the street. People come to work here on their laptops, which is a plague for modern cafes, but at least they are not allowed on weekends.

This cafe is amazing!! Our first good impression was the kindness of the staff here! They are all so lovely and nice. The atmosphere and overall style of the cafe is really beautiful and cozy ✨ Then our food was served and we were blown away! The breakfast contale was really nice and the cheesecake had stunned us! It really was the best cheesecake we ever had. Definitely recommend coming here!!

Great weekend breakfast in Strasbourg. The coffees were wonderfully made and the croissants were flaky. The Eggs Benedict was also really good and I loved that they offered some lovely French cheeses in place of the ham. Can’t wait to return.

Very nice place which I totally recommend, but with a lot of potential for improving the brunch menu. Very good cappucino with barista oat milk. Nice offer for breakfast, however the eggs Benedict were just totally boiled. Also, it was not possible to order any scrumbled eggs (as they were not on the menu).

Quaint little spot for either a quick coffee or a breakfast bite. It’s a busy spot but worth it. The waitresses are so sweet, even during busy hours. The granola breakfast is great and they have dairy-free coffee options, which was helpful. Their English is perfect and makes it easy to communicate!

Cute little café that we stopped by during our trip to Strasbourg. Located in La Petite France. We enjoyed a cappuccino, cheesecake, and an almond croissant. The service was lovely but not too much seating available as the café is quite small.

The atmosphere is very cozy and you feel comfortable. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. We had latte macchiato and the Twiix cake. The coffee was individually decorated and was very tasty. The Twiix cake was also very good. The prices are very good. I can highly recommend the cafe.

Delicious home made cakes, with cappuccino and chai tea latte.
I got the pumpkin pie and my girlfriend got the cheesecake. 5 stars all around.

I simply love this place : nice people, great coffee, cute and typical building, affordable and tasteful vegan “plat du jour” 4 days a week otherwise it’s vegetarian.
I definitely recommend!

After an exhausting stroll through the streets of Colmar and Strasbourg on a Sunday evening, I found myself in need of a doppio espresso for a much-needed energy boost. Fortunately, I stumbled upon what turned out to be the best espresso I've ever tasted. They utilized a La Marzocco espresso machine, though I'm unsure of the specific coffee brand used. This energizing experience indeed added to my evening adventures.

I very much enjoyed it here in Café Bretelles! There will likely be a bit of a wait, especially on weekends, but they have decent space in a cute, old building, and it was well worth it! The wait staff were very kind, the food was very tasty and hearty, and the coffee was good! The atmosphere is warm and comfortable.

Nice place to have French breakfast in Strasbourg 😋 the only smallish drawback is that it was quite cold inside🙈
