Hôtel bar Brasserie L'ESCALE

Had an impromptu lunch here today with my family, whilst visiting Bergerac on a very hot day. We were impressed from the outset by the professional and friendly efficient waiter who had a full restaurant but coped with ease. We rarely get these in the UK. The food was great. I had Thai beef and my family had burgers. A nice, pleasant surprise which we hope to repeat. Highly recommended.

Came here for a couple days on a family getaway, staff were so friendly and helpful, went out of their way to please our 2 year old who can be demanding. Food was excellent and the place was clean, room was a little small but the outstanding service far outweighed this for us. Would recommend

The hotel and room are simple but clean, well located (in front of the train station). The hosts are nice and kind.
The breakfast is really tasty.
I totally recommend.

Such lovely friendly staff (even got a lift to the airport due to taxis not being available with one staff member). Only stayed one night as we were travelling around the area but managed to come back for a couple drinks on our last day before heading home. Rooms were great, comfy and clean and was really nice to have a bathtub! Will definitely be staying again when visiting the area, and recommending to others. location is also perfect as a short walk from centre but directly across from the train station.

We ended up here for dinner after our flight home was cancelled last minute and couldn't have been luckier. The food and wine was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner was absolutely amazing - so friendly and helpful. There was no accommodation anywhere in Bergerac or the surrounding area but he made sure we didn't have to sleep outside which we will always be grateful for! Thoroughly recommended!

Practical hotel, with clean, new and airconditioned rooms. The staff is very friendly and talkative and the food is decent. The location is really good as it’s opposite to the train station. Great to stay for a couple of days when you’re on your way to the seaside / land inwards.

Excellent restaurant ! Le plat thaï au poulet est un incontournable avec des épices parfaitement équilibrées, offrant un goût fabuleux. Un grand merci à notre serveur, accueil très agréable, drôle, et aux petits soins. Une expérience à renouveler !

Venue il y a 1 semaine pour 6 nuits.
La chambre est moderne et fonctionnelle. La literie est excellente et on y dort bien. Bien situé juste en face de la gare. Peu de bruit. L'accueil est parfait et personnel plus qu'agreable.

Soirée étape a 100€, l'emplacement est très bien situé avec un parking facile et gratuit juste en face. Un repas fait maison de A à Z qui était franchement excellent. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel/ restaurant qui a un rapport qualité prix imbattable sur le secteur.

Trois copines font une escale à l'Escale, tout s'est bien passé, super accueil, très bon repas, chambre au calme. Petit séjour parfait !

Une super découverte ! Le service est parfait, le personnel est très gentil, très souriant et on s'est régalés ! Une salade César copieuse et savoureuse et une côte de bœuf délicieuse ! Le café gourmand et la crème brûlée étaient parfaits également ! Et que dire du petit déjeuner ? Salade de fruits frais maison bien sûr, viennoiseries ... Tout ce qu'on a mangé était clairement fait maison, rien d'industriel, y compris les desserts. Quant à la chambre que nous avions réservée, elle était très propre, très calme et le lit super confortable. Une adresse que nous retenons pour nos prochains séjours !

Arrivés pour une nuit d'hôtel nous avons été très bien accueilli par le patron très professionnel et à l'écoute de ses clients. La chambre était impeccable et correspond totalement à l'annonce. Nous recommandons chaudement l'établissement. Bon courage à toute l'équipe pour la fin saison.

Belle surprise, nous avons passé une nuit et nous avons adoré la convivialité des gérants et leur bienveillance concernant les enfants, encore merci petite Louna était très contente.
En plus une superbe cuisine et une bonne literie, nous reviendrons.

Petit hôtel bien situé. Face à la gare et proche du centre ville (se fait à pieds) L'accueil a été au top! La chambre très bien, propre avec une bonne literie. La déco sympa. Je recommande.

Très accueillant avec un brin d'humour. Nous avions réservé en dernier minute un chambre côté rue (pour le prix) et on nous a donné un chambre côté cour en. Alors merci beaucoup. Literie très confortable déco top. Je conseil les yeux fermés
