Le Clos du Haut

We had a wonderful experience in this lovely house. The only downside was that we stayed only one night here. The house is newly renovated so it's very clean and tidy. The design and choice of every item was made with a lot of talent. We were able to celebrate a family birthday in the sunny garden and as the house is far from other houses we didn't feel that we are disturbing anyone. The landscape is really the highlight of the house. We hope to come back again for a longer stay.

An amazing vacation in a stunning place and wonderful hosts. We went as two couples for a quiet and relaxing holiday in Normandy. The vacation was perfect Limor took care of everything we needed. Bicycle rental, restaurant reservations and travel recommendations. There is no doubt that we will be back

A group of 3 of us recently stayed at Le Clos du Haut for 3 nights at the end of a whirlwind tour of Normandy. Not only did it provide the rest and relaxation we hoped for, but it exceeded our expectations and was even more beautiful than the pictures. The gite was beautifully decorated and spacious, combining countryside relaxation, beautiful views and luxury materials and soft furnishings. As a design affectionado, I very much appreciated learning about all of the materials Limor and Romain had sourced or reclaimed, including a staircase reclaimed from a manor house and beautifully refinished and incorporated. There is only 1 step on the main floor, with 1 of 3 bedrooms located there, making it an excellent pick for one of our travelers recovering from a knee fracture. The main floor shower was a walk in shower, with separate toilet room. Upstairs was a shower and bath and separate toilet room. The separate wash and toilet rooms were well thought out to accommodate up to 6 persons easily. The moment we stepped into the gite, we felt immediately calmed and spoiled to have the opportunity to stay in such an picture perfect setting. It provided the perfect relaxing setting following 1.5 weeks of intense touring for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The gite location was ideal, 20 minutes to Honfleur, 5 minutes to Pont-l'Eveque and the A-13 highway, 20 minutes to Beuvron-en-Auge. Despite being so close to the Highway and Pont l'Eveque, you felt as though you were worlds away from any city. It was exactly the Pays d'Auge experience we were looking for and could not have been more perfect. We found ourselves fighting to go out to tour the local area and leave the peace, quiet and beauty of the gite. The kitchen was well appointed and perfect for our desire to find local products to prepare our own meals. Limor and Romain are perfect hosts, happy to help and be available at a moments notice, but respectful of guests desires for privacy, but also happy to get to know their guests if the guests so choose. They also effortlessly switched between English and French with members of our group. Learning that Romain did the restauration work all himself with Limor as the interior designer made the stay all the more impressive. They have a beautiful young family. Their house is close by on the property, but not so close that you would know it was there. We also enjoyed saying hello and feeding the resident donkey's (Bill and Kido), watching the neighbours - dairy cows in their pasture, who "visited" by walking by in their pasture at least once daily. Watching the evening sunsets from the terrace were an absolute pleasure. We would not hesitate to recommend Le Clos du Haut and our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

I live in Paris and I my mom came over to spend a couple of days with me.
She has never been to Normandie and since it’s only two hours driving from here – I said: why not.
We booked three nights in the Clos du Haut (late May 2024) and I think it was really the icing on the cake: the green hills from this guest house with the silence of nature: no cars, no people, just birds, cows and the astonishing green of Normandie – 50 shades of green 😊

Ms. & Mr. Leblanc were so welcoming and the house, wow! Imagine the houses you see in AD magazine… so chic, so warm. We spent most of the time in Deauville and Honfleur but the last day was just about chilling. My mom also had a Thai massage that Ms. Leblanc recommended on. Was brilliant. If you ever come to Normandie (Calvados region) and want to stay away from the crazy amount of people visiting/living on the coast side – the Clos du Haut is a great option.

Un havre de paix. Une très belle vue sur la campagne depuis la magnifique terrasse. La décoration est raffinée, les literies de qualités et pleins de petits plus : café compris, gel douche et shampooing de qualité. Possibilité d’acheter des produits de la région dans le gîte (on a adoré). Limor et Romain ont été très sympathiques et disponibles.
Je recommande pour ceux qui ont envie de calme et de campagne (vaches et ânes sous les pommiers) à 15 minutes des plage.

Le Clos du haut est un lieu enchanteur !
La maison est superbe (bravo aux propriétaires et au papa pour ce beau chantier), la décoration est très soignée et truffée de belles pièces et le cadre champêtre est exceptionnel !
Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour dans la maison. Le temps est passé trop vite. Nous espérons déjà y retourner pour découvrir le spa à venir peut-être...

Une très belle maison avec une vue magnifique, je ne peux que recommander. Le séjour y est agréable, la maison est confortable et décorée avec goût.
De plus Limor est très accueillante et vous recommendera de bonnes adresses. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Situé à seulement qqes kilomètres de Deauville, l'occasion, pour se détendre loin du tumulte de la ville après les belles visites qu'offre la région.
Logement très propre et arrangé avec goût.
