Café du Port

The starter was possibly the best dish we had in two weeks of vacation in France, remarkable considering the moderate prices here. We were blessed with great weather, making the terrasse in front of a small church a pleasant location, despite passing local traffic. Service was quick and super friendly. We ended up being happy that the long list of recommended restaurants were all fully booked one day in advance, and we would come back to try more of the changing menu.

We took a quick day trip to Rennes, and we hadn't thought to make any reservations for lunch. Well, we got lucky here! The gentleman working found us a spot at the bar, and we proceeded to have an amazing lunch. My beef roast melted in my mouth. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully presented, from the entree all the way to the cafe. It is tiny inside, so make a reservation to make sure you don't miss out! If you need the restroom, it is down a tight flight of stairs, so keep that in mind. Will definitely return the next time I can get to Rennes!

Délicieux ! One of the best fish courses I have ever had - very flavorful, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Very good wine. The servers were friendly and energetic. Dining on the terrace located on a quiet street on a warm spring evening was delightful.

Looks like a bar but main dishes were surprisingly delicious and well prepared. Outside table is nice in summer evening.

Wow, what a fantastic restaurant. We had a beef dish and pork dish. The food was cooked to perfection with amazing flavours and ingredients. Our server Paul was incredibly attentive and happy to speak English due to our terrible French. Would highly recommend a visit.

Well known among locals, though a few foreigners start spotting it out as well, this typical french pub gets cosy, yet lively and fun at peak hours. I went for dinners every now and then and most of the times it turned out to be delicious, particularly the starters. They have a nice range of wines as well. Reservation is needed, as it gets crowded pretty quickly.

Bonheur que ce petit resto découvert pour fêter un anniversaire ! Une cuisine qui a du goût, des couleurs, de la texture, des produits de qualité, une carte avec quelques plats seulement (ce qui a fortement aidé pour le choix du restaurant), un service très souriant, sympathique et efficace, une ambiance chaleureuse. Nous avons retenu notre fils de 13 ans pour qu'il ne lèche pas l'assiette..... Bref, soirée parfaite, merci à toute l'équipe !

Excellente découverte ! Comme nous a dit le patron ‘ ici il n’y a pas de congélateur ‘, tout est frais et excellent, même le moelleux au chocolat, facile à acheter congelé, est délicieux et fait maison. Cerise sur le gâteau les prix sont super abordables, on repart le ventre plein, le cœur allégé mais pas le portefeuille.

Un menu du jour excellent. C'était du Kefta avec yaourt sur divers légumes. Brioche perdue et tiramisu très bons 44.60 pour 2 avec 2 verres de vin café

Nous avons passé un agréable moment, la qualité du service, la sympathie du personnel et la chaleur de l'endroit rend l'expérience très positive.
