Charming little store indeed, with many old wines to chose from.
I bought three bottles. When I came back to the hotel room and opened them, I thought the wine was bad.
The next day I brought all three bottles back to the store and spoke to the proprietor about my experience.
The owner, Michail Cramay was very nice. He explained to me the proper way to open, let breath, and enjoy the 40-50-year old wine. He decanted my wines and we enjoyed them together. It was a great experience. Michail even gave me a nice bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape as a parting gift.

This is not a wine shop. This is an adventure. I visited for whisky and that selection is small but high end.
As with the wines and all other drinks the focus is on vintage bottles. If you look for a CCCP era vodka, Dom Perignon 1966 or Knockando 1988 this is the place to go. The small place is a small museum with all the decorations. I spent a few hours there, absolutely great place. PS, I promised to return the next day for more Lagavulin, but my schedule changed. Next time I will visit again.

I have visited this cave over many years. It is undoubtedly the best wine shop in Bergerac with a huge variety of stock including many interesting older bottles of wine and spirits. The owner is helpful and charming.

Superbe cave, installée depuis longtemps! Vieux millésimes, belles bouteilles…. Le caviste extrêmement sympathique et de bons conseils… meilleure cave de bergerac et des alentours sans aucun doute!

Excellente expérience dans cette boutique où les conseils du maître ont su aiguiller mes choix. Il y avait dans ce verre de temps que j’ai bu une dose de professionnalisme sur un fond très sympathique. Si Bergerac me revoit, je reviendrai !
