Valley View Falconry

Had a lovely birthday morning suprise as a visit too the Valley View Falconry centre, was greeted by Tim at the rural little sanctuary, very quaint with outbuildings, fields and birds and various animals everywhere. Felt welcomed straight away, he'd remembered things from when my partner had booked and was chatty.

We looked round the fields at the horses while he prepared the first bird, a stunning little owl and so began the next hour and a half of bird handling. Tim was very good at what he did, he was friendly, informative and very engaging, hats off to him and clearly both knew his stuff and was clearly passionate about the birds, having had some for many many years.

Current ridiculous restrictions don't allow them to be flown, which in all fairness would of been the only addition to the trip, but overall well worth the trip

What a wonderful time we had at Valley View Falconry, Tim was so welcoming and so knowledgeable his passion for what he does was evident right from beginning to end. We handled 6 different birds and was amazing to be this close to these amazing birds.
We would definitely recommend experiencing this and we will be back again early next next year.

I work as an activities organiser in a residential care home and i have booked two Encounters from Valley View Falconry now, on both occasions, everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Tim is extremely knowledgeable and his love of the birds comes through strongly. He is patient and respectful with the residents and very competent at keeping everyone engaged. His visits are enjoyed by all the residents and staff.

I cannot say enough about how incredible this experience was. My mother (in her mid-70s), my two children (aged 12 and 14), and I all visited Tim and his amazing birds last week for a "Meet & Greet" and it was the highlight of our vacation--hands down. Tim is knowledgeable and personable, his birds are stunningly beautiful and gentle, and Valley View is a lovely, comfortable place doing very important work. Tim brought six different birds out for us to interact with (various types of owls, hawks & falcons) and each one of us held each bird for several minutes while we learned about them as individuals and about their species. It was educational and magical all at the same time. Thank you Tim for having us and thank you even more for the important work you do, educating the public and rescuing countless animals. The world is LUCKY to have you. If you are at all into animals, book with Tim straight away--you will LOVE IT!

Incredible experience! So reasonably priced, Tim was brilliant, welcoming, so well-informed. The birds were stunning and it was all so much fun!

We had an amazing experience as a private group of 8; 4 kids ( ages 5-10)and 4 adults.

Tim was extremely friendly and made us all feel very welcome. He was great with all the kids and made them feel very confident with the birds.

It was beautiful to witness the bond Tim has with the birds and it was a great opportunity for the kids and adults alike to learn all about the amazing birds of prey and ask as many questions as we wanted.

Tim spent a lot of time with us and really gave us an incredible experience. We spotted some shepherd huts and would love to come back as there is horse riding and fishing. Something for everyone for either a weekend break or a holiday. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Tim and family for a fantastic experience.

Had a meet and greet session with my family yesterday, was a great experience. Tim was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable and passionate about the birds. Wonderful way to spend 2 hours, we all loved getting up close and learning all about the selection of birds on show.

An absolutely amazing experience. Tim was so knowledgeable and was able to keep both the adults and wide range of children (aged 3-14) engaged. We saw some stunning birds and had the added treat of seeing a miniature pony and bunnies! What a morning! Thank you so much!

Excellent and valuable learning experience in a beautifully themed farm with a friendly atmosphere. There is wealth of animals to see. The birds were exceptionally well trained and it was great fun to be able to hold them under supervision. Everything seemed not only well looked after but much loved. Absolutely excellent.

Great meet and greet experience today. We felt really welcomed and at ease. There was a lovely variety of owls and hawks and it's clear they are looked after well. Recommend a visit but book in advance.

Being complete novices when it comes to falconry, Tim and Kat made us feel comfortable and completely at ease.

All our questions about the birds where answered with no problems and the information given was in depth and with history behind each birds life, helping us understand their personalities and traits.

Beautiful place with fabulous people, cant recommend enough, well worth visiting but booking a meet and greet session made it for us!
Book it and you wont be disappointed.

An excellent experience. We did the meet and greet and it was amazing to hold a good selection of birds and see them up close. Tim was an enthusiastic mine of information and his love of the birds was obvious.
