Absolutely loved our stay here, took my partner for a surprise get away for his birthday and he was over the moon! The lodge is amazing, very clean and some lovely views on the balcony, nice and quite area, and the hot tub was super! The owner was lovely and attentive can't fault them!

It's in a very quite location so is better for people who want to relax, small little village within 5 minute drive and everyone is so friendly! Some amazing mountin views within a 20 minute drive.

Definitely recommend and will 100% be back again!

Stayed at Oakwood Lodge Park Ltd as family of 4 with dog. Stayed in the 3 premium three bed lodge. We absolutely loved the place. Great location👌, good sized accomodation with the addition of a hot tub. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay here! Great location, lodge was clean, the only things that let it down was the WIFI, it wasn't working, and the tv remote we had to ask to get changed. Also the check in time is quite late, and check out really early, we felt quite rushed as we had to clean up after ourselves too. There are shops about 6 minutes drive from the lodge. Also Elan Valley was only 15 minutes drive and it was beautiful, the views were amazing. Staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely come back sometime.

We’ve been visiting for 3 years now; first class! We’ve stayed in the large house & various lodges on site all different but first class! The team that look after & book the properties are awesome, super flexible &!amenable. We’re regulars because it’s great, nothing else to say 👍👍

Hot tub is worth a go even when it is below zero.

After getting married we decided a quiet, relaxing break with the dog was what we needed and come across Oakwood Lodge Park on the internet out of chance.

Check in was super quick and easy. As soon as we arrived I followed the directions to reception, which in the end turned out to be simply a store cupboard, with various envelopes on the side containing all the names of everyone checking in that day, each envelope containing the key to your lodge.

After retrieving our envelope we simply drove to the corresponding lodge and parked up outside, each lodge has its own car park space.

We were very pleased with our lodge, it was spacious and very clean. The hot tub was hot and ready as soon as we arrived.

The setting is truly what makes the break here. Surrounded by fields and vegetation, our break here was very relaxing with minimal noise and no busy main road nearby.

There is no shop, cafe or restaurant here. It is essentially a farm with a few lodges and hot tubs. The closest town, Rhayader, is less than 10 minutes drive away. One night we decided to walk into town with the dog for a few drinks and a meal. Walking into town takes approximately 50 minutes, most of which is along a quiet country lane.

If you are taking a dog, this park is perfect. It's quiet setting is ideal to take a companion and there is even a dog field for thrashing them with a tennis ball.

Overall the park seems very well maintained and we had a fantastic break here and look forward to booking up again.

So relaxing, so peaceful! Honestly one of the nicest stays I've had away in a while. The lodge was clean and tidy and the view was beautiful! My only con would be that they would need to bring the hot tub closer to the cabin as it was very cold at night and you freeze instantly (but there is only 4 cabins that have a little path to the hot tubs, everyone else was fine and had the hot tubs close by)

Love this place. Can't wait to come back in a few weeks.

Last minute booking and team couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely setting, and awesome with the hot tub. Were a little worried about the music blaring from the next lodge, but happily they were as quiet as anything by 6pm. V peaceful. Thanks to Sarah and the team who even put up birthday banners for us.

The accommodation is fantastic, clean, well presented, and well looked after!!!
The hot tub is a must have, and these are well positioned and looked after!
A dog friendly holiday location, (we brought our two dogs), and walks that go on for miles!!
These lodges are just round the corner from the Elan Valley, the Dams, and some other attractions too!
We would wholeheartedly recommend this location for holiday away from the house!

A perfect place to chill out and recharge your batteries. The lodge was spotlessly clean, beds were already made. The views spectacular. The owner and the girl who cleaned the hot tub daily couldn't do enough to help. I can't praise this place enough so much so booked for break in the summer before we even left. My mother in law and I were physically and mentally exhausted when we arrived for our 5 night break. We left totally refreshed.

Great friendly service from John and his team. Brilliant for family of all ages and very dog friendly. Quiet, tranquil, beautiful views. Hot tub was great (checked daily). Ordered delivery from Tesco on our arrival (John kindly helped the driver bring to the door) so we were sorted and ready to relax straight away. Many of the guests are return customers.

Beautiful setting. Small lodge site with private hot tubs. We visited in September with our dog. This place is amazing for dogs, the whole lodge park is safe for them to run off lead. There are fields to run around and even private woods with a stream.
The lodge itself was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The staff we saw were very friendly.
Only expensive satellite wifi available but excellent 4g signal with Three mobile network. Freeview TV channels and a dvd player.
Ideal place to visit for a quiet, intimate getaway. We'll be visiting again.

We spent a lovely Christmas here with family and our dogs. The place is just beautiful and the cabins are really well maintained and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful with any questions or queries we had. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

Loved this place. Great for a long weekend getaway. The hot tub right next to the cabin was amazing. Its very out of the way and quiet with a small village with shops 5 mins away. Awesome

We had a 3Bedroom Lodge it was Lovely, took a while to get used to the Electric oven though. After we checked in we Never saw anyone that owns the Lodge's!

Lovely setting, lodge very well equipped, clean and very comfortable.Hot tub great for relaxing after a full day visiting local area. Dogs catered for with woodland walk etc (loads of receptacles for dog waste!!).

A nice break away from every day life. Beautiful scenery just on your door step. Nice walks for humans and dogs a like and red kites flying around the park. A lovely place

Lkveky cabin. Very spacious living /dining area and kitchen. Bedrooms spacious too. Beautiful views, hot tub undercover on the deck. Be aware this is rural site, lovely if you want to get away from it all. Udeal for walkers. Closest village for shops , pub etc is Rhayader

Stunning views, lovely staff, great place! Clean, with all the amenities you need for a getaway but don't rely on the free WiFi provided, network coverage is great in the area if you need data.
