Outstanding little B&B in Caerphilly. Steve was a brilliant host - he couldn’t do enough for me and is extremely knowledgable of the local area and the history of the guest house.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable with amenities and a shower with one of the best pressures I’ve had at a B&B/hotel.

Breakfast was cooked to perfection and it was the right amount of food to start the day. The sausages were incredible.

I definitely recommend staying at the guest house if you are travelling to Caerphilly or Cardiff - it really is perfect for solo travellers and families.

Oh and the views you get of the hilly backdrop are beautiful - what a lovely little area.

Me and my dad just stayed here this week for 3 days due to working in the area 👍 I would highly recommend Steve at tycastell guest house from the moment we turn up he was very helpful and welcoming. The room are very clean and well looking after . They are 100% great value for money and Steve also make you feel like your at your own home 👍 everything is in walking distance food place and town centre .
I would definitely stay here again thank Steve for are stay 🙌

Stayed here recently for one night and it was wonderful! The owner was super helpful and kind and polite, the room was really big and clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy. Would recommend staying here if you ever want to explore Caerphilly and the surrounding area.

Absolutely fantastic! The family room was perfect, clean, huge bathroom. The shower was powerful and hot. The beds were out of this world comfortable, breakfast was amazing and Steve is so thoughtful and lovely!!!! Would recommend this place 100% and will be returning often!

Beautiful little guest house within throwing distance of the train station and very close to the town centre. Perfect for any traveller looking be at the heart of caephilly. The rooms were clean and well stocked with complimentary water and shower products. Definetely recommend.

Great place to stay! We would come back anytime. Steve is very friendly and caring. Good connections to Cardiff (trains every 20 min on weekdays, 5 min walk to train station) Good value and really good service! Hope to see you again!

The proprietor Steve Anderson has to be one of the friendliest, most helpful people in the world. We only had two days under his roof, but I'm thinking up ways to get back there one day.
The Guest House is very convenient for the railway station and visiting Cardiff - itself a very pleasant surprise for my wife and myself (we loved Cardiff Castle, the main Art Gallery, the broad elegant central streets, and a superb Pie-and-Pint pub just opposite the castle called the Goat Major deserves a special mention), as well as being - naturally - very handy for visiting Caerphilly's huge and fascinating castle.
Steve was also very helpful in recommending restaurants for our evening meal, one the four of us enjoyed very much.

Steve's a great host, cooks a mean breakfast, and I always have a good nights sleep.

clean warm room with a comfortable bed.
Quiet didn't get disturbed
and a full English breakfast which set me up for the day.

What can I say about Ty Castell Guest House, except that it is an exceptional place to stay and Steve really makes it worthwhile. He goes the extra distance to ensure that you have everything you need to relax and find a home away from home.

Nothing to complain about at Steves B&B. Clean, comfortable, friendly, no frills accommodation. Tasty full breakfast and conveniently located to the HIgh Street and all for a very low price.
