Sandhole Oak Barn is an absolute gem of a wedding venue - incredibly located in a gorgeous rural lakeside setting with wonderful views and incredible sunsets. In addition, as a supplier, I've always watched couples receive fantastic hospitality and comment on just how much they've loved their celebrations here. Outstanding!

We had the most amazing wedding at Sandhole! From the first viewing I knew this was going to be our venue. From the minute we booked until the wedding day itself the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They were always available when needed and there to answer any questions and give advice and support. The venue and surrounding areas are stunning and great for wedding photos! Wish I could have the wedding day all over again. Thank you!

We got married at sandhole Feb 2024 and it was the most perfect day sandhole is amazing the staff are amazing the venue is amazing the bridal suit is stunning I cannot say enough good thing about this venue. The staff just make everything so easy. All are guests loved it as did we best day ever. If I could give it 10⭐ I would. Thank you sandhole for the best day we could of dreamed of xxxxx

We attended this venue as friends to Paul and Jess, celebrating their wedding day. Well, what can I say... the venue is in a stunning location, which allows for great memories to be captured. The grounds are well kept and maintained. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well equipped with tea and coffee samples.

Upon arrival, we were given our room keys, and the receptionist was very helpful in taking the time to explain everything.

We have a gluten intolerance, so before the meal was brought to the table, the waitress took the time to speak with us. The same waitress then brought each course to us, which is admirable and made us feel safe. Thank you for this small and simple gesture. We also felt the food was exceptional, and we could not tell the difference between the gluten-free option and the standard menu choice all other guests were given.

We left the following morning after an amazing experience, contributed to by each and every staff member in the venue.

Very nice experience for my nephew's wedding! Absolutely beautiful venue! We were lucky with weather in the end got some nice outdoor photos. Only problem I found was with bedroom there wasn't a mirror near a socket when styling my hair. But otherwise no fault breakfast was very well organised and a gorgeous dining room.

I attended my nephews wedding Saturday 3rd Feb 2024, what a lovely venue. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The grounds are lovely and well kept and the bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. The meal was excellent. I couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend 👌

What can we say about Sandhole and the team??? Such a beautiful place and the team are so welcoming and friendly..
As a gay couple looking to get married we had viewed a number of venues but felt we weren’t welcomed as much as a straight couple ..thats until we met the team at Sandhole. They took the time to show us around and to show the full extent of what the venue can offer as well as getting to know us as a couple.. inviting us on several open days to meet suppliers and get a idea’s for the day.
We had originally booked for 2020 but we all know how that ended!!! The team we’re so helpful in keeping us up to date with the goings on and helped with the moving of the date to March 2022.
On the run up to the day the team kept in touch making sure we had everything in order and if there was anything they could help with..
On the day the team we’re welcoming showing us around, showing us all the plans come together.. and everything we had planned had been put into place and was beautiful.. the whole venue was just as we imagined… All our guests we’re welcomed and showed to their rooms then to the venue in time to welcome us to walk down the isle.
Please come and see the team and the venue for yourself it its beautiful all year round. And an excellent venue for straight and gay couples.
Do not hesitate to book your special day here you will not regret it!!!

We went to Sandhole Oak Barn as guests for our friends wedding I can only say that we had a wonderful day actually we had a fantastic day the views of the surrounding area are lovely everyone involved at sandhole Oak barn were very nice especially the ladies who cater for the breakfast and also I would like to mention the grounds emmaculate also I stand corrected sandhole Oak barn do cater for children

What an amazing venue and beautiful location for a wedding, my gorgeous Niece had the best day with fantastic food, drinks and location.

The most perfect setting for our wedding day! Everything was so smooth and stress free. They were so flexible and went to great lengths to make our day so special and magical. We couldn't have asked for any more!!

What an amazing day celebrating Paul & Jess's wedding on Saturday. The venue, all aspects of the food (afternoon and evening) were fantastic. The staff were so helpful and friendly it all added to making the day special ❤

My daughter got married there at Easter and we had a brilliant day, everything was perfect.The Staff were brilliant and so friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
I would well and truly recommend.Accomadation also clean and comfotable.

We had the best experience at Sandhole Oak Barn. From before we booked right through until after the wedding the team were amazing and couldn’t do more to help. They were organised, got back to us quickly and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do more for us which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the day knowing we were in safe hands. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and getting married looking out over the lake was breathtaking. All our guests commented how beautiful it was. The on-site B&B was excellent as well, the rooms were lovely and it was so nice to be able to have breakfast with our family and friends the following day. An amazing venue that I fully recommend.

I played at a wedding just before lock down at Sandhole Oak Barn. Beautiful venue with very professional staffing. Easy to work with venue, clearly identified restrictions and regulations prior to the event. Team were attentive and helpful with any questions I had. Looking forward to a lot of 2021 bookings here.
