Lovely aquarium with lots to see. The place is not fully covered and you have to go from one room housing animals to another. Some of the animals are outside, so bring appropriate clothing if the weather is bad. I've visited one other aquarium which was the national marine aquarium. That is fully covered. But this place has some animals you won't see at the national aquarium even though that one is bigger. There are seals, otters and penguins at sea life unlike the marine aquarium at Plymouth. Which makes this place stand out in a different way. There is also a large outdoor play area for the children should the weather be good. All in all a unique experience and different in its own way compared to Plymouth which is my usual place to go. But yes, be prepared to bring warm and waterproof clothing if the weather dictates it. Fantastic place! 👍

We had an enjoyable morning here, there's a good variety of animals to see and in a different set up to the other sea life centres we've been to. Worth noting there are a lot of outdoor elements so bear that in mind if you are saving this for a rainy day activity! Our two year old loved the penguins, the otters, and seeing the sharks and turtles up close in the ocean tunnel. There's a big outdoor play area and splash park too.

Parking is available right next to the centre, in a paid for council car park. Recommend using the just park app so you can extend your parking from there if needed.

Had a really good time here. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Will be back to di the behind the scenes tour and feeding as we only had time for a short visit. But well worth every penny. The only disappointment was that they didn't have the stingray touch pool anymore. But that was here 10 years ago when I last visited, and they have other attractions that weren't there before, so I'm really happy.

I went yesterday with my 2 children and sister. And I must say that I am extremely impressed! My son was struggling with the noise and the man that served us ( so annoyed I didn’t get his name) was INCREDIBLE! I left my sons ear defenders at home but without asking he gave me a sensory bag for my son as he could see he was struggling and made my son feel safe and happy and it made our entire trip more enjoyable especially as he could enjoy it.
I had 2 very happy kids! The sea life centre itself is definitely one of the best we’ve been to! There’s lots to see and do. The park and the water park are definitely a bonus for the young ones. It was very clean all around.
Would definitely recommend anyone to go. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Thank you so much to Weymouth sea life centre for not only making my son feel more safe but for a good day out! 🙂

Very helpful staff who marked sitting areas for me (im on crutches right now) and very interesting exhibits. We were super early so had food in the cafe before going in. Baby loved pirate turtle so we had to get him.

Wonderful day out! Good range of animals/species to see. The playground, pool and splash pad are a great bonus, as it can get really hot in the sunny summer days. They even put Suncream dispensers around the site!

Took the grandchildren here and what an amazing place. Loved the different sections to visit, a huge play area, cafe and easy parking. Really friendly and helpful staff.

One of the best sealife centres we've visited, love the layout. Loads to see and do here and easily spend 3 hours on your visit. Mainly outdoors, which is unusual, so make sure you look at what the weather's doing. They have a fab splash zone / swimming pool if the weather is right and a brilliant adventure playground accompanied by a cafe that sells Costa coffee. There are kids' trails and quiz to do for prizes and lots of other activities for them to do. Personal highlights turtle tunnel and the seals. Also, a good adventure crazy golf attached next door for a separate fee. Big car park but chargeable.

We had an amazing time at Sea Life Weymouth. The aquarium was lovely, with lots of information scattered around and plenty to do and see, even for adults! Probably our favourite aquarium we’ve been to in the UK so far! Definitely book in advance.

Spent an enjoyable couple of hours here on a rainy day. Quite a few different zones each with its own environment or type of sea creatures. With penguins, otters, seals, turtles, eels, fish, and sharks, there’s plenty to see. If it is raining, take a coat as much of the park is outdoors. I’d also recommend checking for deals online, we had half price entry thanks to a code on a bottle of Carex hand soap!

A nicely done out aquarium. The parks for kids look great though as they were outside in winter our little one couldn't use them as it's winter.

Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Best of all the exhibits were really nicely done and the animals looked healthy and content

One of the top days out in Weymouth!

A good mix of all kinds of sea life to see and learn about and to support the good work they do there.

Lots of informative sessions throughout the day with different animals such as the sea lion feeding which are worth making the time for.

Great place, lots more to see than I expected, who knew there was such a thing as upside down jelly fish! They have some there! Separate building for different displays with things to do in between, great idea. Only downside is when it is raining which it was when we went.

The best Sealife Centre we have been to for children. Masses of space for children to make use of, huge themed play area, a paddling pool with a water fall and slide! Wonderful animals well cared for, lots of education, fun and interactive displays for learning and so much more! Really impressed. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Be prepared to stay the whole day, unlike other sealife centres! Just be warned that the only down side is that the car parking is council owned/run so the charges are extortionate. £3 for 1 hour and £6 for 3 hours from what I remember.

Great couple of hours spent here looking at the exhibits inside and out. The tunnel section was brilliant watching the sharks and giant turtles swimming inches above your head

One of the best Sea Life’s we have been to, the outside areas including splash zone for children and you can get unbelievably close to the penguins.

Having visited a few aquariums and usually finding the animals to be in poor conditions I was very pleasantly surprised when we visited. Not only are all the enclosures visually beautiful you can see the care and thought that goes into these animals.
Lots of staff around doing talks about animals, feeding times, informative posters and interactive things for guests to take part in.
I will 100% be returning again, despite being quite expensive for a family I’ll be using my club card towards this. Only shame is there is no free parking so that’s an additional cost
