Llanasa Parish Church

My ancestor was baptized in this church in 1827 and married here in 1850. It was such a treat to be able to visit it. I loved the little walled memorial garden in front of the church. The story of the 13 men who died trying to rescue others was tough touching. I'm grateful the parish keeps it open and allows people to come inside. It is a beautiful building and a sacred space.

What a lovely church, well kept, grounds well maintained

This was my second visit to Llanasa.....First time, the church was not receiving visitors due to Covid. Now its doors are open, and the opportunity was there to have a good old exploration. The church itself is totally magical, with a wonderful ,exciting past, and lots of secrets, and fascinating little stories,,,including the mesmeric stained glass windows ....A place for quiet reflection, and the chance to fill the soul with untold joy

Lovely church set in a beautiful village. Free parking in car park opposite.

Went to try to find family grave but was so overgrown we could only access a small bit of the graveyard. Such a shame as it is a beautiful village. Barmaid or maybe landlady didn't seem very knowledgeable or interested in the history of the place which I think is a shame. We were very disappointed to see the graveyard in that state despite it being a wildlife sanctuary there still should be some care & attention paid to these places
